I'll update this a tad since I've had the Fox TRD stuff on a few months now.

Definitely no topping out, it has plenty of down and up travel.
I had Bilstein 6112/5160 on my previous Tundra. Set at the 2.5" setting with additional Coachbuilder spacers on top, two on the driver's side (for driver's side lean), one one the passenger, I was at around 3" of lift in the front. Also had the Bilstein/Dirt King UCA. I was topping out hard, and all the time off-road. Definitely didn't like part. Maybe had I not set it at the 2.5" setting it wouldn't have been bad. Otherwise, it was a good setup. Not super plush for slower speed off-roading, but handled everything else well.

I'll be adding a Coachbuilder .5" shim (1" lift), bump stop spacers, and +3 shackles to the Fox TRD suspension soon. I will report how that all works. May add the Bilstein/Dirt King UCA, since I have a set collecting dust in my garage.

I've been running the Fox shocks on my 21 TRD P with the westscott lift and the Icon RXT leaf pack in the back. Wheel it pretty hard at Windrock TN and other places... it has held up really well. The ride strikes a nice balance for on road stiffness and responsiveness while being able to take the abuse on the trail. The combo clears and articulates 35s with no rubbing. Took off the mud flaps but that's it.

The issue I ran into with the westscott lift and its not their fault is that I added a hidden winch and bumper which dropped the front maybe .25 to .5 inches bc of the added weight. Still clears fine but now I'm thinking I should go the Eibach spring route.

My question for the group is how much higher can the fox shocks go...I am wanting to go 37s. Any input?

I have no useful input, but would love to know. I'm swapping out my Fox for Dobinsons later this month!

I’m on a westcott lift with a coach builder .5 shim on top of that, Out back running rxt on option 3 on 37s. I beat the hell out of the setup and it takes it, I am also running dirt king boxed uppers and lowers and rcv axles to help though.

Yes, I won’t run another tire on this rig. They’ve done well in everything I’ve put them through.

If anyone has a video of their TRD Pro Fox Shocks in action at high speed, please share. I can't find a video of a stock TRD Pro Tundra getting after it.

So, got the Coachbuilder +3 shackles and Pro Shim kit installed, along with the Dirt King UCA. Also added 315/70-18 Yokohama MT's and Method 707's. Required a BMC, bumper trimming, and removing some fender liner.
I took it for a shakedown run. I didn't notice any topping out. I did have the body mount bushing rubbing on the BMC plate on the driver's side. I fixed that when I got home. Still have some rubbing towards the rear. I'm probably going to have to find a good offroad shop for a better alignment and push the wheel forward some. Maybe pinch weld mod. It drives straight on the alignment they did. Unfortunately the shop I like for installation doesn't do there own alignment and subs it out.

I didn't take any measurements after this stuff went on, but I should be 2.5" in the front and 1.75" of lift in the rear.

I'd love to. Unfortunately, I've used too many Vaca and PL days already this year. I won't have sh!t towards the end of the year if I keep using them all. Plus, I'm more of a late afternoon/evening guy. I need to quit being lazy and get these light bars on now for some night runs.

    Thanks.

Yeah, seems to ride well. Although I may need to install the Coachbuilder steering kit. I can feel a little bit of harshness at the beginning of the stroke. Could have been the trail I was doing, could have been other things, too.
I was paying more attention to rubbing, the body mount( it was noisy), if it was topping out etc. So, I will give it a few more runs.

Anyone else running these Icon RXT packs? And what option? I thought I'd be getting the Deavers or Alcans to pair with my new Fox 2.5 kit, but the reviews and price point for these might win me over. Really wanna go with 37s as well! Just probably need the BMC.

I just mounted these 37s yesterday. I have the RXTs with option 1. Definitely going option 3 though as the back sags a lot with added weight.

With your 2.5s all you would need is the bmc and slight trimming on the bumper/fender to run dirty sevens and join the club :cheers:20240411_192724.jpg Screenshot_20240412_064814_Gallery.jpg

I thought I had it all figured out with Westcott preload spacer and now you gave me more to think about/research.

I'm no suspension expert, they are just theories based on the little I do know. They may or may not have any relevance.

This looks great. To be clear, this is the Westcott pre-load collar lift in the front and Icon RXT option 1 on the rear? Anything else (spacers)? Any wheel spacers?

Great thread. I have been referring back to it before making my purchase for my 21 Pro. I had settled on sticking to a westcott lift for the front and a CBI bumper, to save weight, but now the ARB has entered the chat and I want it. LOL. For the added weight of an ARB (and I will probably put in a lighter weight winch as well), will a westcott lift still work? After reading here, the Eibach springs seem to be a better option for my plan. I’ll keep checking back. Planned use is towing, light trail, big trips. Regearing and powertrax are incoming. Running 285/75/18 Duratraks at the moment and staying with them for now.

My opinion on the Fox TRD Pro shocks are that they don't handle a bunch of added weight too well. At least not weight that isn't evenly distributed. The front bumper may be fine though.
They are valved for stock Tundra weight.

I still have the stock bumper so couldn't say for sure.
