Viper, hey i finally bought those coilovers for my 13 tundra from icon. I had the RC 6" lift. However I haven't really noticed any change

Sup guys, Just got my tundra back from a performance shop. Solid love the way it came out. She sitting on a Rough country 6' lift with a shim kit, 2.5 ICON coilovers, + AAL with 20x10 Fuel Mavericks wrapped in 35x12 Nitto trail grapplers.

Hello all, I'm a complete N00b when it comes to all this shit. Learning a ton...
I'm currently running a 6" rough country lift. I'm wanting to eventually add another inch or two, but I've heard I can't go any higher than because of the stock axle. Is it really that big of a deal?

Stock CV axles I would say would be a problem. 6" is already too much, IMO.

As 650h1 said you will be putting a steep angle on the cvs unless you drop the front diff down more. With a 6" drop bracket lift you replace the crossmember with a new one that drops the front diff down adaquately for the 6" lift. You cannot drop it down any more with your current drop bracket. I cannot confirm if it will work or not though. My guess is too much strain on your front cvs.

A 6" lift really offers no more functionality than a 3" lift... if it was my money i would take the 6" lift out and spend money on a good mid travel setup like CSUviper has...

Absolutely incorrect. 6 inch of lift with coil overs and mid travel gets 37 inch tires. 3 inch.. now that is totally pointless.

@cmlenny has 37's on his truck with 2.3" front lift and the rear dropped. Taller tires are what adds clearance for the diffs. Drop bracket kits just raise the center of gravity and you have to cut up a perfectly good frame.

Sorry for the crap pictures but here is my 12 Limited DC with 35's. Zone 3" up front 1" in the back. Rubs at full lock backing up, have my Ballistic Morax's on order and hoping that will take care of most of the rubbing issues.

Here's one from this morning, just got back from Colorado, took it down a bunch of passes and it did great, got nice and dirty. Woke up and detailed it, had piles of bugs on the driveway.

Looking at getting a 6" Tough Country lift with 35" toyo Open Country A/T... Anybody have this same set up or close to it by chance? Also, any reccomendatuons or advise with this set up would be appreciated. Also looking at how much actual height is gained on truck to see if still getting in the garage is a possibility. TIA
