I installed 2019-2021 headlights in my Tundra and needed the wiring harness to run the DRL. Why do all the wiring harnesses come with only one wire in the connectors when three wires are needed in the four wire connectors? The wiring harness that you buy does not provided the ground and the parking light feed. I had to install my own terminals and run new wire.

Did you install halogens or leds? For the led headlights assemblies most go with a harness from @iHacker.

I'd still contact @iHacker and see if he can help you..

You should have bought 2018+ LED OEM headlights..
I kept my amber DRL and had the low white halos come on with the parking and headlights.
Thanks to @iHacker, it was plug-and-play for me..
The OEM LED are phemonial compared to halogens...

I'm running a good set of led headlight bulbs in the headlights and I'm very satisfied with the light output. I just didn't want to spend $600 plus dollars for a set of LED oem headlights. I did get my DLR lights functioning but had to add terminals which I find odd because every harness I researched didn't have the ground and parking light terminals installed. I bought a new flasher from a Tundra that didn't have DRLs to turn off the amber DRL lights.

Hey there, new member here with a mostly relevant question here. I recently bought a 2018 Tundra and the headlights have been completely hillbilly re-wired (cut and splice galore). My mechanic and I can only guess as to why, but the result is I can't use my lights without the truck saying there is a headlight malfunction see your dealer. I believe I have OEM halogen bulbs up top with LED running lights below. they also have he tiltable function which has been disabled in their wiring. I need OEM wiring harness for the lights for my mechanic to even start repairing this situation. He said Toyota would want to sell an entire wiring harness, so my best bet would be to try and find some salvage Tundra situation for the harnesses. I saw a harness on Amazon for a Tacoma, wondering if that would work? Any ideas on solutions would be appreciated. Thank you.

It should be easy enough to find a headlight wiring harness for a 2018 Tundra from a local salvage yard. How much of the harness is messed up? Without knowing exactly what is damaged on your truck and what year the harness from the Tacoma is, I can't tell you if it would work.
