I only have one problem with my truck it doesn't have factory keyless entry or alarm system.
I'm interested in doing the installation myself.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Did you confirm via your VIN# through a dealership or the Toyota website? You can 100% confirm if that's true, but I'm like 90% positive everything from 05-06 had factory keyless entry. Pull out your ash tray and see if there's a little red box behind it

Are you 100% sure you don't have it? Or did the previous owner simply not give you fobs?

    Hit this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

Notice the links in the 4th/5th paragraph? Click through on the one for keyless programming.

Download the RS3200 instructions for TVIP. Try entering programming mode. I'm sure you probably have it, just need a fob. All the info you need is linked from that thread.

I have a launch pro scanner that in most cases allow me program key fobs through the theft deterrent module or the body control module . My scanner didn't show the function available.
I will look for the red module to be sure as well as go through the wiring diagram. Also note I don't have a red security indicator on the dash cluster.
I don't know if that is a feature with my tundra? Thanks for the info

I just read through the owners manual it said keyless entry is standard on access cab, It also shows a transponder type key , I don't have a chipped type key. Solid steel key no keyless entry no theft deterrent.

At the end of the day, that could end up being the easiest, maybe not the cheapest option. But ease pays for itself in time and headache often.

Use the key instructions from the programming PDF, and skip the rest.

Neither does mine, but I have keyless. It's quite possible your scanner doesn't support TVIP?

TVIP module for RS3200 is inside the dash, somewhere between the gauge cluster and radio, or behind the gauge cluster (I forget).

That's just the "expansion" for TVIP, which includes a glass break sensor function, and the flashing LED. Absence doesn't mean you don't have keyless.

Did you already sign up for the Toyota Owners site? Info linked in the thread. Maybe it shows on that build ... or maybe not. However, if you can enter programming mode, it's definitely there. But I'll tell you: It usually takes me at least 3-4 attempts to actually get the sequence right to enter programming mode for TVIP. The timing and order of everything is a pain in the ass. It's even worse for double cab guys, because some used TVIP, and others used BCM for the keyless if I understand correctly.

It is standard, which is why we believe you have it.

Chipped keys were never used in access cab, and only in SOME double cabs, the ones using BCM for keyless from what was stated on here in the past.

Flat steel key means nothing; dealership never sold these trucks with a flat steel key, plastic-end key was standard.
