So I need some advice. My tundra has been fantastic but its not my daily driver for the last 10 years. I use it only when I need to get some work done. About 8 months ago on a very light rainy day I got a check engine light!? Now before this I occasionally had an issue driving uphill--I would feel some hesitation. Not all the time but sometimes. Now I get this check engine light and I noticed that at idle my engine is very smooth but after it warms up (10/15 minutes) I will get a slight intermittent jolt like a misfire but not a rough idle. The check engine light went away and my scanner showed nothing. Months go by and I needed my truck again and the same thing happened. Smooth running at idle, no hesitation on the freeway until after about 10/15 minutes. Then at idle I get the slight jolt with an occasional larger jolt but no rough idle and no hesitation on freeway. Today I used my truck early in the morning and the air was very moist. I got my check engine light and this time I could not go over 50mph. Smooth idle and acted like last time. Parked my truck and about 2 hours later I started it up and no light. My scanner reports P0333 as the ONLY code. Could I have 1 or more bad plugs? Haven't changed plugs in ages. Any thoughts are appreciated. PS. If I can identify the wires for the knock sensors I'll check them/switch them.

Check the plugs, also clean the throttle body & maf sensor, then unplug the battery for a bit & let the computer reset. You may also find cracked coils, but that only seems to be a problem when it rains. The knock sensors are under the intake manifold, but i dont know if the airpump will be in the way.

Yup. Take a peek through your intake runners and see if you can see any type of nest in there. My truck sat for a year before I got it back. I found this:

Little bastards completely chewed my knock sensor wires. I had a constant code though. Since yours is only when it's humid, I'm betting they chewed into a wire, but not completley.

Sorry for the long delay in responding! I started with the cheap options first. I replaced all of my spark plugs since I really can't remember when they were last replaced. This is a rarely used truck in the last 9 years! Well the truck ran better but my problem still persisted. I then decided the throttle body was my next target. I removed the throttle body and completely cleaned it. It had never been cleaned. Happy to say that was the problem! No more hesitation or code P0333. It was running fine for about a week of daily use before a new code popped up but that's for a different thread! Thanks all for the suggestions.
