Just strapped on 35x12.5r18 Falken Wildpeak A/T4Ws. Stock TRD Pro suspension and wheels. Snug fit but no rubbing. Specs say these are full 35s (35.1"). IMG_6333.jpg IMG_6334.jpg IMG_6336.jpg

Heh. Strap on. Please excuse me, I’m still an adolescent boy at heart.

But in all seriousness, it looks great.

After a bunch of research I’m thrilled I went with the Nitto Recon Grappler 275/65/20…only 48 lbs and drives like a dream. IMG_2169.jpg

Added Wildpeak AT4W yesterday in 295/70 R18 on stock suspension. Loving them so far.

How you liking these so far? was looking at the same tire and size. Also looking at the ridge grapplers too. I’m not going to lift or level, but believe the 34” tire should fit no issues.

Incredible difference between these and the Toyo AT3s I had on my GMC. I’m on the road most of the time and don’t need an E rated tire and all the extra weight.

Went with 35x12.50x20 Toyo AT3s on stock wheels because I’m not a fan of most aftermarket wheels. Have the Westcott Designs spacer lift and 1” spacers front and rear. The first alignment shop couldn’t get it right because inexperienced guy had no clue what he was doing.. second place got it right to the specs Westcott recommends.

    Looks phenomenal!!

Any rubbing? I have same wheels but my truck has the factory 3" lift installed. How much clearance do you have between tire and UCA? How close to the swaybar?

I'm debating lifting my Tundra 1.5" and adding bigger tires. Have any of you experienced a decrease in fuel mileage and increased road noise?

Bigger tires adds rotational mass so your truck will be a little slower of the line and you will lose some on gas depending how big and how heavy the tires are that you choose. When you lift it more air and lift under the truck will also take away from your mileage.

No rubbing with 35s as long as you pin back the Liner that Westcott recommends. Watch their videos and you’ll see what they recommend. No rubbing the control arm at full lock either way, got about 1/2inch of space.

currently my 22 has 265/60R20s on them. Fuel mileage has been great so far. Was just curious how much worse it got with a slight lift and bigger tires

Most tundra aftermarket wheels are 33 + lbs and as much as 39lbs that is a ton of extra weight to be turning before even adding bigger tires

your size can be had in p metric or lower load ranges. Load range e on larger tires adds weight and kills mileage.

Just installed Toyo AT3 LT275/65/20. On limited off-road wheels I bought off Facebook. My truck also has a cornfed 2/1 lift.
I was worried about the ride quality going to E range tires but I have to say I wouldn’t be able to tell a difference if I wasn’t looking for it. These tires ride great from the limited driving I’ve done so far.
Will get some better pictures later, it’s a mucky rainy afternoon in Oregon right now. IMG_0480.jpg

My 22 stock 1794 got about 19/20 mpg and now my 24 platinum hybrid with factory lift and 285/70/17C gets barely 15

I have a 1.75" leveling and bigger tires, Cooper AT3 XLT 275/65/20 (34") and there is definitely a change in MPG. Slight road noise also but not bad.
On the OEM tires I was able to get well over 20 MPG, up to 24 if I am very careful, but now I hardly get 18 or 19 at best.

You can clearly see on my chart where I added the tires. :)
Leveling was installed within the first month so you can see the first 2 tanks were higher and then dropped a little bit, but after the tires it was a considerable drop.

Hard to say, I just got them on yesterday afternoon and have only driven about 50 miles. So far getting about 16.7 adjusted for tire size. Was averaging around 18 give or take this time of year on the stock Michelin’s

So how do the E rated tires ride? I loved my toyos on my Tacoma and would like to throw them on my tundra but everything I read says E rated tires ride terrible. So I’ve been looking at the nittos that come SL rates. But would rather go toyo

I went through this dilemma…ended up with the Nitto recon grappler 275/65/20 SL rated. Super glad I did. I’m on the road most of the time, don’t need the extra weight of the Es

I was in your same position, deciding between the E range Toyos and the SL nittos. Really preferred the Toyos due to the snowflake, and I do tow a 6,000# travel trailer so I thought maybe the stiffer tire might be helpful there. The E toyos are also only 6 pounds heavier than the SL nittos.
Long story short, they ride nice! Gun to my head I’d probably say I can notice a bit more stiffness compared to my stock Michelin’s, but I was also so worried about a poor ride with these tires that I was looking for it. If I didn’t know the tires were different, I’m really not sure if I would’ve noticed.
Hope that helps, I know your agony. I went back and forth on this for months and went to the deepest depths of the internet!
All else fails and you hate it, Toyo has a 45-day satisfaction guarantee. You can always return them
