Had the same irritating click last year. Dealer dropped headliner and found some factory tab was hitting the glass. Fixed.

So I had my truck at the dealership yesterday for the fuel line recalls and had them look at the TSB for the window clicking and where I put the wedge. They said the TSB was for older models and clips don't exist on these trucks. They did however add some foam tape between the headliner and the body. This seems to have fixed the issue same as my wedge did. Whatever it was, it's gone now, so I'm happy happy happy.

My eyes tell me my 2023 tundra (also Canadian, not that that would make a difference) has clips. As well as others on this forum that have photographic evidence. Dealers lying or being full of shit isn’t anything new however

I agree. What did I have my wedge jammed into if not a clip?

I'm not going to make a big deal of it though, since whatever they did seems to have solved the issue. My wedge remains available though...

There is definitely a metal clip that fits into the roof tab….here is the clip after it was cut from the tab…good luck hope they solved the issue. IMG_1879.jpg

So, what exactly is causing the noise? Windshield rubbing the tab?

Can you bend the tab so it doesn’t make contact with the windshield rather than cutting it off?

The noise “appears” to be the clip or glue shrinking in cold weather and rubbing I side the tab.
In order to bend the tab, you must first cut off the clip. (The tab holds the clip that is glued to the windshield)

So, I love my Tundra but... I am having this issue as well. Seems like the noise is coming from the driver side headliner and A-pillar. I have an appointment at the dealership on Feb 11th. I will update this forum with any news I get.

***UPDATE*** My truck went in to the dealer this morning. I got a call about three hours later saying it was finished. NO MORE NOISE!!!! Looks liked they added some insulation according to the invoice, as shown below.
