Yes, relatively easy DIY if no rust involved. Crow's foot is handy for removal and replacement of the sensor. I would just do them all at this point in their life cycle. Soak them with some penetrating oil for a couple days ahead of time to make removal easier.

Yeah to add to my last I rented an O2 sensor socket from a parts store to get the two up-stream sensors out. Came out no problem just a bit of a tight access point. I'd consider new M6 nuts for the downstream sensors, mine were almost non existent from rust.

Now to find the part numbers.
My truck has minimal rust but I’m game to replace my nuts, always best to keep those fresh :)

Oh we can’t order from a dealer? I only see pigtails.

For my v8, it looks like maybe 2 each of
    234-4169
    234-4162

Is that right? Left and right sides, upstream and downstream? Then hunt for deez nuts?

I thought the heater circuit was only on the downstream sensors?

All of them are 4 wire O2 sensors I believe.

Got a Leaf as a loaner while the Altima is in for service. It's fun to drive but has the ugliest wheels I've seen in awhile. It's like a hydrostatic drive go-kart.

I can't stand thick leather gloves. They actually make my hands cramp up, and I can't get a confident grip on my toolo_O. Thin leather ones aren't much better than what I had on.

Saw those wheels a couple weeks ago, thought the same. How the F does something that ugly make the cut?

Years ago i was almost that guy. One end of broken toe hook missed the back of my head by about 3”. The tow hook on the other end of the strap ended up lodged firmly directly through the diff cover on my lil’ 1993 ford ranger. It was a hard enough impact that it bent the ABS tone ring that’s sandwiched between the ring gear and the diff carrier! I had to pry the hook out and buy a new diff cover, and straighten out a few teeth on the tone ring.

The story was i got my ranger stuck on my uncle’s property. So walked home (about 1/2 mile) and drove my CJ7 back down. I couldn’t find my good tow strap so i used a crappy strap that had tow hooks on both ends. I knew the dangers of them, but i was trying to get the truck unstuck well after dark while it was cold and raining. After a few jerks (i was driving forward, trying to pull the ranger out backwards) i decided to do a bigger jerk...and yup, the strap snapped. One hook when one way and the other hook went the other. One lodged through the ranger’s diff cover, and the other hook ricocheted off the left rear down tube on the roll cage (open top jeep). It was a miracle that the hook zinged off to the left. But in the process the hook also went directly through the rear tensioner strap for the pirate top (bikini top) cutting clean through it, AND denting the rollbar tube! The tension from the strap on the other side of the top ended up disconnecting the the whole assembly from the windshield. So there i was at about 10pm at night being rained on in my open top jeep while covered in mud...with zero injuries. I thanks the Lord for protecting me from my own stupidity, then immediately drove home and went to bed. I retrieved the ranger a few days later...with a better strap...after it has dried out...and during the daytime.

The sure fire way to narrow down the cause would be to disassemble the spring packs and then reinstall the main leaf back into the frame. Then cycle the suspension up and down (as well as articulate it) and see if the shock’s stroke is too short or too long. Just because a particular suspension manufacturer say that their xxx shock will fit x amount of lift, doesn’t mean that it actually does...whatsoever. It’s not a difficult job to pull apart the pack, just a job that’s annoying.

I thought I read in this thread or another that someone needed extended sway bar links. Anyone remember by chance who that was? I have some NIB I'll sell em before I put up a FS ad.

I towed my BILs GMC a couple blocks back to the shop with a sketchy 20k recovery strap with hooks on both sides that broke when I was pulling bushes out with it around a tractor bucket. I tied it back together in a big knot. It didn’t break. We both lived.

I have new love for my Tundra...it's so easy to work on!

I've been fixing up a V6 (1MZ-FE) Camry for my son.

    - Need to replace the lower control arms. The FSM says "remove the engine/transaxle"!!
    - Want to replace the back spark plugs? Easy...remove the throttle body, intake plenum, and the wiring harness!!
