1794 with Load Leveling or 6.5 foot bed, do either exist?

Over the past month I have been looking for a new 1794 edition Tundra with load leveling and AVS. The longer bed would be nice but that seems to be a unicorn. I have talked with my local dealer in central VA, they have nothing with load leveling.

I have repeatedly tried Smartpath, but it has zero 1794s with load leveling within 500 miles. The 6.5 bed option does not actually do anything if selected - the filter is never added to the list of filters.

Do these options actually exist? The build functions seems to indicate they are.

I’ve seen a few 6.5’ beds. Not sure on AVS.

Yes, this configuration (1794 + 6.5' + AVS) can be had but it takes lots of searching, acceptance to travel or transport for delivery, and patience. Consider to ship out of the region and to study dealer allocations which are not always listed in the Toyota search inventory app.

I neglected to mention that I was looking for the Hybrid version. Perhaps that makes the load leveling a bit less common? I guess they exist, but not often.

 

Are there other specs not identified?

 

Ideal would be:
2024 Tundra - 1794
i-Force Max Hybrid
4 wheel drive
Crewmax with 6.5 foot bed
Load leveling with AVS (package 12 of 14)*
Spray in bed liner
Interior Saddle Tan
Exterior - Mesquite, Lunar Rock, Blueprint, Pearl, Magnetic Grey
No dealer shenanigans or markup


*The package is as listed on the Your Build function on Toyota.com. I could live with the short bed, which switches the package to 16 of 18.

I don't fully understand why Toyota doesn't allow (practically speaking) the customer to actually custom order this at their local dealer.

This is what led me to the F150. I was willing to accept traveling for delivery, but not the insistence that a higher trim 1/2 ton pickup with a crew cab with 6.5 foot bed is, somehow, a unicorn in the 1/2 ton market.

 

Welcome to Toyota Land. I sold my father a 1989 Toyota truck brand new. Toyota has never had a true customer order bank or process...you live and die by allocation and dealer exchange. Yes you can order a domestic truck but Toyota builds by package and sprinkles a la carte options like AVS or heads up display as they choose. Dealers might be able to do add ons like spray in bed-liner or step bars, tonneau covers and door edge guards. The Capstone has it all and they are sitting so you might get a deal on one of those...I bought a demo 2023 1794 that was really close to my specs I was happy with option wise with this in mind. Yep 5.5 no AVS.

Couldn't find what I really wanted.

Similar experience. I wanted a Red 1794 w/ AVS and tow mirrors. I'm driving a black 1794 with AVS and no tow mirrors.

I'm not thrilled, but I'm not unhappy either....

 

As an owner of a 1794 with 6.5 ft bed and avs I can confirm they exist. Good luck with the search.

 

As a matter of principle, I was not going to spend over $50k and not get a vehicle configured exactly the way I want it. This is why the last 3 cars I've owned have been custom orders.
