I have no idea why the bottom half just goes MIA. The previous owner of my truck was an avid hunter so I wonder if driving through brush ripped the bottoms out.

The boots are easy to change. Put the front end on jack stands and measure the length of the tie rods. Cut the boot remnants off and loosen the tie rod nut. Unscrew the inner tie rod from the outer. Remove nut and clamp. I cleaned up the inner tie rod and applied some moly grease to the joint. Slide boot over tie rod, slide on inner clamp and nut. Screw the inner tie rod back into the outer and set the length as it was before.

Not a tundra, but plugs, wires, and a coil fixed a slight stumble on this svt. Plugs were oily, gonna check the new plugs after a run to town tomorrow.

    This checks out.

Except I actually like how the 5VZ sounds, even stock.
The 1GR sounds great with long tube headers.

I'd love a sc'd 4.0 with a 6 spd. If I found a low miles Speedway Blue one... I'd probably be inclined to sell my 03 street queen McNasty.

I should've kept my flow master 40 when I got my DD exhaust installed. But I didn't even think to ask the dude for it. Otherwise I'd give it away.

Just in case you haven't explored this particular first gen crevice: found a pick-n-pull sunglasses holder to replace the garage door opener holder that came with my truck. :spy:It feels like you're going to break something trying to remove these but you can see in the second pic that it's held in by a curved plastic clip. I pried the clip up with a flathead and it popped out without breaking. Strangely satisfying upgrade.

This was durring the test fit for the bulbs as the housings havent arrived yet. I was checking my wiring work before work and was getting all heated that the lights wouldn't come on, thought there was a short or a break. I got to work and was like all go check the fuse you idiot, sure as shit....

My truck came with the sunglasses holder. Nit sure if it was like that from factory. How well did the garage door opener work?

I never even tried it as I don't have an opener. Even if I did I'd still rather put my sunglasses there I think though.

Super glue, hot glue or JB Weld lol. But for real, get some release agent put it on the stem and you can fill the knob with hot glue and from fit it.

Its not perminently a fixed to the stem. It just form fits it is all. Makes it a snug fit. A long term temporary fix. I did this in my MKiv GLI before a car how to my radio power volume knob. I replaced it like 2 months later with an Alpine head unit. A fellow judge gave me the idea. As long as the stem is metal and you clean it with alcohol before aplying the release agent it should be fine

Heat shrink around the plastic if it's split. Drop of E6000 glue inside.

You mention some LC Kit that is cheaper way to go? Will it fit 03 AC 4x4 v8?

Love Toy quality but in this case seems kinda steep at $168 even during 25% off sale to replace the valve cover gaskets and bits when AM kits from RA are like $20-$50, unless someone knows an AM kit that has high quality.

Worth getting the cam plugs and halfmoons (that don't usually come with those AM kits) along with these other Toy parts, or just get the Felpro kit ok for like $33?!
