Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE Pro fog lights installed. Update 4/17/21. Now with SS3 Max.

I am looking at the same setup for my fogs. Why did you choose the Pros over the Max's? Anything helps, thanks!

 

pros will be bright enough for me. Max is out of my budget lol

if I didn’t buy the rigid d series pros I probably wouldve bought the max. I have a sr5 and did the diy rigid d series fogs. I should’ve did more research

 

Good to know. I have Baja Designs Non-SAEs on my 2015 and feel they're too bright for use unless I'm driving in a narly storm. This time around looking for SAEs but can't decide which ones to get. Information overload.

 

yeah I went with the rigid d series cuz it was sae. I went with white as well. This time I’m going ambers

 

Good call. I'm a fan of Ambers, especially out here in Colorado with our winter storms. My BD Squadrons definitely saved me in a storm a few years back.

I just installed SS3 Pro for ditch lights and SS3 Max for fog lights. Love the look and output so far.

 

Added "The Bright Box Fogster" from Aspire Auto Accessories over the weekend.

I could already see in the dark with the SS3 MAX fogs and the 30" light bar. But the light bar not being street legal attracted the law when used anywhere near the road.

The Fogster now turns on the fogs when the high beams are engaged so I can see in the dark and remain legal.

The Fogster is a must in my opinion.
