Excuse me for cross posting but as @armyoffoo posted on the Throttle body thread. We need you to contact HPt to have them program "reset all adaptive and possibly throttle body reset" for the Toyota platform.
    Thanks

Well if this is the case a duel feed rail and tuning adjustments almost seems crucial in supercharged form. Is this done because of the one feed into the first rail and then over to the second rail and pressure loss getting to the last cylinder? Is cylinder 4/6 also adding/taking fuel? This is so odd to me.

I'm going have to say sounds like @snivilous is the resident tuner, and quite honestly I'd trust him to tune me over others after speaking to them....... Hopefully he won't mind me bothering him to maybe get me setup right if he's not to busy:D:hattip:

I don't know, above my pay grade. Those are the only cylinders I see any difference on. Timing I have absolutely no idea. Fueling is interesting that cylinder 5 is getting leaned out and cylinder 3 that's right next to it is getting extra fueling, and the same amount at that almost like cylinder 5 excess fueling is being handed off to cylinder 3. And the TRD tune concluding that doesn't matter enough so just eliminates all those variables is interesting too, though I would assume it's for simplicities sake and they're just removing variables to make tuning more straightforward and the cylinders (with the TRD tune) were getting so much extra fueling it made up for the individual offsets the stock tune uses?

Tuner might be reaching  I'm just here to help, and I like doing stuff myself instead of trusting others :D but I'd be more than happy to help, or if you make your own tune I'll answer whatever I can

@snivilous the HP VCM editor is only accessible by a registered shop correct? This is one thing I do not like with HP. I know I comparing apple to oranges here but at least Cobb tuning ATR allowed the end user to edit their tune and see and adjust everything in the tables.... Damn HP all I can do is datalog. Wish there was a way to at least look at the tables/plots as data. :(

One of the reasons went with a larger system with dual feed to each rail. Think it was @Silver17 posted the Matt Smith discussion on it some cylinder 5 correlations of its increase of issues.

Just spit-balling, but maybe it has something to do with the stock intake runners, VCIS and how the airflow makes it to the cylinders vs. the supercharger pushing air more or less evenly across the runners?

I call BS man!:D I see on your website tuning is coming! If you could please schedule me in for what availability works best for you I would really appreciate it. Plan now is jumping on getting the fuel rail changed over, bigger injectors and dropping the tank and getting rid of the FFV pump.

FFV pump is a good pump, it's the relay/controller that needs to be bypassed.

I've been searching for specs and LPH on the flex fuel pump to no avail. Also have the Magnuson fuel pump that comes with the non flex fuel...... But of course I'm not seeing any markings for LPH.

Here is the non FFV fuel pump supplied with the Magnuson 2650 kit. I've crossed referenced but haven't found the specs on flow yet....

I have no clue on FFV pump specs but can say it looks identical to the Walbro 450 (I posted a pic side by side when I was having my pump issues)

    @ARES35 @e30cabrio
4Firemandam used the FFV fuel pump to hit 566hp. He did utilize the kenn bell boost a pump. So he gave it up to 16volts? I forgot but didnt @ViktorG fuel video show the FFV flow? You try to search 4firemandan ffv pump upgrade. I have a few of his posts saved as I modeled my system after his but didn't see any flow data.

Check out Kenne Bell's documentation, they don't recommend running the BAP on some Walbro pumps. Running the 267 at higher voltage leads to pump failure, they suggested upgrading the power wiring to dedicated wiring for the pump switched with a relay using the original fuel pump power wire as the trigger.

They informed me of this after I inquired about getting one of their universal kits.

I wasn't suggesting using the boost a pump as that is like a band aide. Just that 4firemandan used the ffv pump for his system as they are looking for flow data.

I used the stock FFV pump on my setup with 650cc injectors and the 80mm pulley and made 512 safely. No issues yet.

Well shoot then. I'm not sure why some of these shops required that I upgraded the FFV pump before they would tune me. I'll just stick strictly to the forums for information from here on out tired of the run around.

After touching base with @snivilous I've decided to scratch this worthless ass HP RTD/remote tuning and go MPVI 3. I'm not looking to break the stock block power record by no means. Just good usable power at elevation.

What’s weird is if you search for a replacement FFV pump on RockAuto, autozone, etc. and then look at the flow specs, most are around 44gph which is about 165LPH (not gonna cut it). I have to assume those listed specs are just wrong?

I have not flow tested a FFV pump because flex Tundras are not sold in Canada.
However, someone did send me a FFV pump from their truck last year, so if I ever get time I could do it.
Anecdotally, they are supposed to flow in the high 300 lph range iirc, for some reason number 375 is floating around my head.

Was fumbling around on HP tuners site and tried the upgrade option on the rebranded MPVI/RTD-3 Magnuson supplies, for the MPVI3. Does not work, magnusons got it on lock down real good. Not surprising but disappointing lol. MPVI-3 in route. Does anyone know if the MPVI-3 can read the base map from the RTD-3 tune? I'm going to assume thats a big no haha

Probably not but it should generate a basic trd tune that will enable the ecu to be written to. I read in the past some had to contact hpt and they helped with a basic tune for your VIN.

Thanks Mdl! I will need a basic tune to build from that's for sure. Especially with the stock RTD tune being locked out:facepalm:. It would be nice to see their mapping for informational purposes but it is what it is.

It will download a tune from the HPT servers based on your ECU ID, even if you flashed the tune from Magnuson it would still download the same file. I wouldn't be worried, it should be smooth since your truck isn't brand new.

Fuel rail possibility? This is a low pressure rail from the 2008 - 2014 IS-F 2UR-GSE 5.0L V8. All the other UR engines have stamped steel. Injector spacing is of course spot on. Mounting looks different from the stamped 3UR-FE rail, but shouldn’t be a problem to adapt. The fuel damper is the traditional style, and each rail receives its own, so two total for our V8. Left and right rails are the same casting, but have bosses machined for each side. Opening up the second boss on each rail will allow multiple feed locations and/or cross overs. Each rail also has an M14 bolt plugging the end. The ID of the rail is 11.75mm or .462”, which is a tad larger than common 8AN type rails. 7CA5EC71-387F-4D31-9762-746F106E4269.jpg E6BCB620-AB86-4D9A-A93F-47BD2F9DE2E3.jpg D7B6827D-D45C-42C7-9B59-DF842AD090EB.jpg
