Show me some leveled with Stock rims

@dbrock34 How has the Westcott 2/1 affected your ride quality? I’m thinking about getting it too.

 

Top photo are the new tires (285/65) - both on just a 1” cornfed front level (disregard the grease on wheels as this was right after install).

 

Westcott Designs 3/1 lift with Toyo at3 295/65/20 tires.

 

Have you had the opportunity to measure if you now sit level? It looks damn near level to me.

How was the installation? Also does the leveling kit require and alignment (I'm assuming it does)?

 

After my 1” cornfed front level my alignment only needed a toe adjustment. I’m sitting a little higher in the rear, can’t remember exact measurements but the level gave me exactly 1” of lift in the front. If you have the same fender measurement front and rear it’ll look nose high.

 

This is likely what I'll end up doing, thanks!

 

Admittedly new at this and so please excuse my ignorance. Figure these stock tires aren't looking like I'm getting more 30,000 miles, currently at 22k. Did you have to do anything special to not have rubbing and are you liking this so far?

Have a 22' 1794 with the OR so I have the same 20" wheels. Want to improve the look soon while keeping it as non-complicated as possible...lol

Get some 295/60/20 all terrains and call it good. This tire will fit with stock suspension with no rubbing.

 

No rubbing or anything?

 

No rub on mine except when at full lock with some articulation. Then there is tiny rub. Day to day though nothing

 

3” SST ReadyLift, Factory 20” Wheels, 35x12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Rides great with no rubbing.

 

Did your gas mileage go down much doing this ?

 

Sure did! Was getting 17.4 city and went down to 15.2 (normal drive mode). Not sure on a long highway road trip yet when I can use Eco-drive. I think the 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers were lighter than the Toyo M/Ts I was looking at, but the weight and size does eat more gas.

 

Here’s mine with RC M1 at 1.75” with 275/65/20. Front slightly higher than rear. Going to order 1” rear cornfed spacer

 

That 3” SST ReadyLift goes 3” in front and 1.25” on rear. When I measured from ground to top of fender prior to lift, front was 36” and rear was 38”. After 3/1.25, it looks level but have not measured yet. Hated that much front end slope new from factory. Other option I was considering was just going with RC 2” spacers on front, but ultimately opted for the 3” SST ReadyLift.

 

Yeah it is a little high in the front but still looks great. I'm so torn on how to level mine. Seems like all the kits raise the sport higher than the rest and confused as to how that happens. Almost tempted to just do a 1" spacer and call it a day. I want to keep some rake. What size tire is that?

Maybe get cornfed 2/1 spacer kit. I just felt our sport model is too low in the front. Looks like a low rider

 

They definitely are. . But she does handle good!

 

Sorry to resurrect a month old thread but I like this setup a lot. I'm thinking of doing the RC N3 for the 2" up front and the Cornfed 1" in the rear

 

Might need 3” in front and 1” in rear to completely level from the stock 2” front downward tilt. I went with the 3” SST ReadyLift and it looks completely level. Stayed with factory 20” wheels but went to 35” Ridge Grapplers. Went from forward leaning grandpa Tundra to a great looking more level and aggressive look. Rides great with zero rubbing. 2024 1794 has plenty of front wheel well room.

 

I think the reason I want to go with this route is because we carry some heavy items in the bed at least twice a week... think like.... 24" or 26" wheels... average about 220lbs altogether at the least.

One thing I highly recommend is getting a Dr.KDSS pan hard bar alignment kit.

it made a world of difference in my rear end alignment, it rides firmly planted, almost like a car. Very impressed. Next more I’ll try is the Icon sway bar drop.

 

This setup on my TRD Off Road measures .75” higher in the rear but looks level.

 

How much lift are you running in the rear with the Dr. KDSS bracket? Also, do you happen to know if that lower bolt hole can be utilized? I cant find the instructions online, other than their install video. Presumably that lower mounting location would achieve less adjustment, but I found it odd that there is no mention of it. It does however mention the bracket is "really only recommended for lifts of 2”-3”+ of rear lift." I'm probably at 1.25" to maybe 1.5" of rear lift. Enough to get the axle out of alignment, but not really enough to pose an issue. None the less, I'd like to fix it and it seems like the Dr. KDSS bracket is by far the best solution i've seen yet.

On a side note, I've been running the ICON sway bar drop kit for the past year or so. It works, and does its intended job. I've been happy with it so far, but it did place the sway bar just low enough that I had contact with the skid plate (1/4" Aluminum TRD PRO skid plate) and had to use spacers to keep the sway bar from contacting. It annoyed the heck out of me every time I changed the oil, and ultimately I welded some aluminum spacers to the skid plate and replaced the bolts (longer) while I was at it. Not the prettiest job, but it works, and its plenty strong. Here's a quick parts list of what I used if you end up in the same predicament.

Sorry @radar x50 I haven't been on the Forum in awhile so just now seeing this question. It is slightly stiffer but still rides great. No complaints but I did come from a Ram 2500 so everything seems to ride amazing compared to that.

Yes the lower bolt hole can be used. I went ahead and used the top bolt. I have a 1” lift in the rear. I was really impressed on the KDSS really brought the suspension geometry in to proper alignment. I was going to try both top and bottom hole. But the top works great.

Got any pics of the TRD skid plate welded to those spacers? Any issues welding aluminum?
