What's the consensus on the Five-O 750cc injectors? I have a set that I ordered in Feb sitting on the shelf that I need to get retuned for, but wondering if I should get them cleaned/tested first?

Definitely advises getting tested/ cleaned, never know what kinda dirty hole they came from... all kidding aside if they support your power levels do that and if not start new with what is going to support your power goals. Cheers! I tend to be biased and stay with injector dynamics.

I've tried two "new" sets of them and haven't been able to make either of them work for me. They give me a super rich warm starting issue that I find unacceptable. Other than that, they seemed to be fine. There seems to be some debate (at least in my head) whether it's the injectors, or my ability to tune them for the starting issue. Others are running them it seems, but I think their tunes are locked, so there's no way to peek at what's different with those tunes versus all the different things that I've tried on my own. I'm currently running the same injectors as @snivilous which are the ones that Prospeed sends out, they require and come with wiring adapter as well as all o-rings/seals. The plugs need a little trimming on the injector end and is easy enough with a utility knife or wire cutter. The box they come in is from fuelinjectordevelopent.com. I don't know if it's worth anything, but here's a picture of the difference:

Mine have been great outside of the small starting mentioned. And to give an example it hasn’t bothered me enough to address it. It’s very intermittent

Thanks for the info, I have the ProSpeed currently with their rail. The documentation I received says they are FID700 with ~690cc/min at 43PSI (745cc/min at 58PSI), so I figured the Five-O's were an upgrade at ~750cc/min at 43.5PSI (885cc/min @ 58PSI) and would provide more headroom plus would get rid of those wiring adapters and have the extended reach like factory.

I already have the extended cranking issue ever since upgrading from stock injectors Rewiring my pump to key-on and waiting 2 seconds before starting has been a good work-around...although I'd like to get a remote start and would need to re-address that issue when I do.

I'm going to take the Five-O injectors to Kozmic motorsports here and have them test and clean to see if they find any issues.

Im running @snivilous tune via hpt. I haven't had an issue with the fiveo 750's. At startup it will be around 13.5 to 14.6 after it warms up. Hardwired pump does help with long cranks.

The only way I see to have reliable line pressure after shutdown is to use the stock fuel regulator. Does prospeed still have you clamp the stock regulator to get 60psi? Is it reliable?

Harrop has you clamp the stock regulator, but it's a guess what the pressure ends up being. ProSpeed provides an Aeromotive regulator that's boost-referenced and requires 60psi for their tune.

Five-O data on left, ProSpeed on right...ProSpeed injectors test results at 43.5PSI are bottom right (before and after cleaning):

Mine had me wondering if the starter was going to give out, sometimes it would take three tries to get it going.

The ones I have currently installed are FID725 with an average of 720cc/min @ 43psi. I was going to use the Fiveos for the same reasons. I have a remote start, here's how that was going with the Fiveos:

Edit: That's just water dripping out of the tailpipe, I had just washed the truck.

    https://youtube.com/shorts/pjpya0VoyVw?si=toSYyODi1-0H-BDP

I sent back the first set of Fiveos and they told me that they were dirty and that was causing the issue. I told them I must've gotten them dirty, as the issue was present from the get-go. Send me some new ones. They did, same issue, but for the life of me, I can't determine what aspect of the tune could be the problem. I've messed with everything.

The Fiveos were the only injectors that gave me the hard starts. Stocks were fine, TRDs were fine, Prospeeds were fine. Even changing amongst the fine ones weren't an issue. I could totally bugger up the tune six ways to Sunday and they would all start just fine, not the Fiveos. I haven't touched the stock FPR other than to have it connected to the factory location on the intake.

Current Harrop FPR's are clamped at Harrop and provided with the kit (OEM FPR).

That video is like mine. I find if I let the fuel pump run for 2-3 seconds then start it fires up. If I let the fuel pump go longer its harder to start. Hmm...$700 for the fiveo's, did core exchange with some older injectors. I went with them for the ease of installation. Should of went with FID and they are a little less expensive and seem trouble free from the forum members.

I'm running the Magnuson greenies but also have the occasional limp dick start. What do y'alls startup parameters look like? I'm wondering if it's just not getting enough fuel on startup. Here's what mine currently looks like:

    upload_2023-12-12_12-46-59.jpg

My startup also surges* until the up-idle decays to normal idle.
*I just compared this to an older tune and noticed that the Idle Startup Airflow Adder looks different for the 86.7 kPa - which might explain my surging. I'll look into it.

My fuel pump is set up to run like stock. I don't think that it actually runs until the engine cranks. Clearly mine was getting too much fuel; it smelled like it too. The pause/delay in the video was due to me not getting the remote start button presses correct. All thumbs under pressure. ;)

Mine are currently stock with the exception of the Barometric Pressure axis in the Idle Startup Airflow adder, I have it set to reflect my actual pressure at my location along with some smoothing of values. So the pressures are something like 70, 85, and 100kPa. I've had them all over the place for testing and experimentation when swapping out injectors. The only reason that they are what they currently are is to make me feel like I'm accomplishing something.

DW650's here, but my startup parameters are unchanged from stock. Starts, idles, and remote starts like stock. Started great even at 10,000' on the way to TX.

I have an aftermarket DW fuel regulator so no line pressure stored at startup.

I'm having something odd happen with my fuel injectors, well at least I thought they were the issue. Under WOT at 5k rpms I'm getting a cylinder miss fire, check engine lamp flashes and the truck runs hobble and I have to pull over and restart it. After the restart it runs fine, but I get the miss fire again under WOT and at 5k rpm. Runs great other wise. I installed new plugs, still there, swapped coils, no change. Replaced all 8 PS injections with a new set, same issue. I have no clue what's happening, but now that the motor is coming apart, I hope it gets fixed or that we see the issue. @snivilous has been a big help in trying to find the issue.

I had the same thing happen. Cylinder 7 misfire at high rpm. Not a hard misfire just intermittent. I did a compression check, 195psi, changed plugs, 2 step colder, gapped at .026 and new spare coil. It solved it. @snivilous and @ssmokedz gave some info to help. Usually a high rpm misfire is spark related. A true misfire will happen at lower rpm.
    Good luck with the build!

I’d try lower the gap on the plugs and see if that helps
