2022 Tundra Fuse Box Locations & Designations

Anyone know what the difference is between the "Dome" and "Dome Cut" fuses? I plan to add some Diode Dynamics rock lights and they have low and high power modes controlled by different wires. I would like make the low power mode come on when a door is opened and those two fuses seem like the place to start looking. Thoughts?

 

Does anyone know which side of the fuse is the hot side in the passenger footwell fuse box? I’m trying to use an add a fuse and I don’t want to mess this up.

Did you have to remove that panel to install or were you able to access through the side?

 

yea, i remove the side and the panel that it was moutned on. Drilled 4 small hole and a larger one for the wires from the switch. it's solid and nice.

 

3rd box, 3rd on the bottom left spare accessory fuse. Does anyone know if it works only with ignition, or is it constant power. Thanks.

 

Only with ignition, I just checked it on my 2022 Tundra SR5 Sport

I have tied into it yet. I was actually looking for a spot myself to tie in my lighted bug shield from avs. Now I have a new problem. My LTA Malfunctioning light is on. Says to see dealer. And nothing on my steering wheel works now.

 

Sure hope I didn't f... something up by metering fuses. I can't see how. Who knows I have also been have issues with fob and doors not unlocking properly, or truck recognizing key fob to start.

 

Anyone explain which one is the dome fuse? I only see dome cut fuse?

 

Does anyone happen to know which 30A fuse I could add a fuse tap on to work only with the ignition powered on? I'm trying to run a siren to only be on when I'm working. I do not have a meter to check myself. Thanks

 

When I lift the passenger rear seat, there is a panel labelled fuse box and relay's and it has a tab to one side, but no luck in removing that. Any idea how to access that?

 

Anyone know where the fuse is for the ambient lighting? Trying to install the ambient lighting in a 23 TRD pro. I purchased the roof console box with the mood button for a platinum and all the oem parts.

When I go to Toyota parts website it shows me "Fuse, Mini"

 

I have seen them referred to Mini Low Profile fuse taps. Here is the one I used.

I was able to use a standard mini fuse tap to get the signal. So looks good for now. I am able to use the signal wire on my DC-DC charger

@overl4nd which DCDC charger do you have? Victron, RedArc, something else?

I've got my Victron 30A wired into my 24' Tundra but can't get it to run consistently, the smart alternator keeps turning off.

 

I'm about to install my Victron tomorrow. Hope the charge runs consistently.

@overl4nd @onyxoverland which fuse is best and safest to tap the 5A Victron signal wire?
