rock auto wasnt mentioned in the fancy post, but i think they need a shoutout, and dads cheap q45 radiator was cheap and packaged well. Or my delivery folks are better. But since i moved in '17, and either azone is 20 miles away, rockauto delivers quick, and as long as i pick the appropriate value part, i havent had any returns. Like you cant buy the cheapest o2 sensors, but you can buy the cheapest fluids.

That's the only reason I clicked on the post. Wanted to see who's getting put in the corner of shame :)

    Since I'm here, I'll play

    Aftermarket fails
SPC alignment bolts. Absolutely terrible, horrible design and don't work.
    Drums (forgot which brand)
Moog UCA, hit the coil with 3/4 inch lift

    Aftermarket wins
    OME
    Dobinson
    ATS HD leaf springs
Suspension maxx sway bar links (but finicky to tighten)
    Morimoto projectors
    Everything Denso
Moog rear control arm on Sequoia
    Energy suspension bushings

Maybe wins? 14 months and 18k miles later, mostly pavement with some rocky roads and construction sites

    TRQ outer tie rods
TRQ front coilovers and rear shocks
Felpro Valve cover gaskets + tube seals

Everything still riding smooth, no play in tie rods at recent alignment. Time will tell

Not surprising. Hopefully their replacement gas tanks are acceptable if my pinhole leak gets worse.

X2!!! previous owner must have installed them on my truck, and fairly recently since they weren't rusty. 2 out of the 4 had cracks on the sleeve already. Replaced with OEM

Paint the tank. Other than the rust it seems they hold up OK.

Shame- TRW steering rack bellows. Major fail! They don't seem to have enough travel extension-wise. I had some slight issues with the bellow pulling off of the housing when I installed it in July, but it seemed to be fixed with a hose clamp. Brother texted me today saying that the bellow is shredded. I'm guessing that it pulled off of the housing and got torn up in the rack teeth. The MOOG one I installed at the same time is in fantastic shape.

Plus- Coming up on one year with my Fuyao windshield. Zero complaints. I realize that your installer can really make or break your replacement windshield experience, but for those concerned about the actual glass quality, it seems to be pretty good. Glass is wave free, the border around the edge is straight and clean, and the hole for the VIN is lined up perfectly.

My complete driveshaft from RockAuto has also held up really well. It's only been 14k miles, but the joints have zero play and there is zero vibration. I made sure to get the one with grease zerks on all of the joints. The paint has also done a good job of keeping it rust free, but again, it's only been one winter and 14k miles.

Fail: AC Delco oil pressure sending unit. My oil pressure gauge went from being low before being replaced to zero afterwards. Pulled it off and pit an OEM one on, and pressure is up near the 3/4 mark.

-napa front sway bar links, they refused to stay tight

    Wins: -siberian bushing LCA bushings

    -moog inner tie rods

Somewhere in the middle: -trackmotive high angle cv axles, the axles themselves are great but the boots has some small tears, but I put a piece of tape on and now no issues

No squeaks with the Siberian LCA bushings and did you use plenty of lithium grease?

No squeaks. Ride is nice and firm, in part due to the 700 lbs/in shocks but definitely from these too. I used a silicone grease, NLGI grade 2. I've typically used silicone for anything rubber and lithium for pure metal contact.

Anyone else have good luck with Moog steering rack bellows? I'm hitting up Rock Auto for new Moog Inner tie rods and was planning to order new bellows too.

@FiatRunner posted an early positive in reply # 48 above.

Honestly, this is one of those where I intend to go OEM. It's only $25 for '00-'06 ('07 Sequoia), and the part number is 45536-0C010 for RH with large clamp p/n 90080-46271, and 45535-0C010 LH with large clamp p/n 90080-46272 (smaller clip-clamps are identical/reusable but p/n 90080-46270).

Knowing they're that cheap, why would you consider Moog or any other non-OEM brand?

I have a pair of these in my Rock Auto cart. I think there was a post on on the forum from someone that had 2 years on some with no complaints, but of course I cant find it now.

As long as the rubber quality doesn't suck they should last a while.

Edit: @shifty` search fu is better than mine, per usual.

My argument against oem on this would be the basic function of the part. As long as they seal the steering rack and stop dust intrusion they are doing their job.

Im much more likely to tear one on some road debris or whipping some skids than I am to see the useful lifetime of the part.

I posted a pic of my rock auto cart & i think someone (?maybe knabores?) mentioned the moogs split after a couple months, so i changed to beck-arnley. If i get home by this weekend i plan to start changing front end parts.

    IMG_5367.png

Indeed was the moogs i was warned of.

I agree, but ... best pricing I can find on each, it's < $2 difference per side max. Playing the long game, may be worth it. Me, I'd skip one jumbo sized bag of chicaronnes on my next road trip so cover the difference

    (and I love my chicharonnes!)

I know. I quoted him and asked if anyone else had the same positive feedback.
Because by the time I add shipping for a small order like that, they aren't that cheap. Moogs are $9/side and I'm already placing an order from RA.

Just curious if others had good results with them or not.
