I think there was still some old data online.

The lowest clip height is what should be used.

Installed the IMS over the weekend. The difference in ride quality is night and day. I previously had the Billstein 5100's, stock spring, and Westcott collar Lift, no UCA's. This thread, and the forum in general, definitely helped me make my final decision on suspension. JBA and Dobinsons IMS for the win! Stock weight spring 3". Had to do a garage/tape measure alignment just to limp it to the shop.

Can you be more descriptive regarding the difference?

Sure. It rides like a truck. Stiffer at slower speeds and very smooth at higher speeds. Prior to switching, the collar lift with no UCA's felt like the truck was on its tippy toes. Very twitchy and harsh. Highway bridge transitions were rough. Now everything feels more relaxed. Still stiff but in a performance sense not an uncomfortable sense. Im using stiff in a positive way if that makes any sense. The truck feels very composed and tows very well in combination with the firestone airbags

I think we have similar tastes. I like the ride of the FC Pros quite a lot... they are firm on small bumps, but soak up large ones well. Very good handling and poised, no bob or wallow in quick transitions.

Since Ironman appears to have stopped supporting Gen2, it looks like Dobinson will be the replacement when the time comes.

Your setup looks great @brevard828 , finally some solid pics showing a finished setup...along with a useful review!

Bump for @crikeymike , excellent customer service over the years on various Land Cruiser Dobs goodies ... I'm running 4-5" IMS shocks on my 80 from him and they check lots of boxes for a really hard-to-beat price. Ain't no need for adjustability on that tank.

And to think that I almost gave up on this thread half way through due to the nagging nonchalant complaints about incorrectly colored springs providing way more lift than advertised....but yet not one single inspection upon delivery of coils (or the stickers on each of the coils!) ever being performed to simply verify correct part numbers. The suspense is still strong!

Ive since added the IMS medium leaf pack and the ride is exponentially better. I had always heard how harsh the ride became when adding blocks. They were right. I guess you lose whats left of your negative travel. Anyway with the smartcap and decked the leaf pack was definitely needed.

Its been slightly frustrating trying to find any reviews on the IMS suspension on the 2nd gen tundras. On forums or youtube.

How much actual front lift did you end up netting with the netting with the 3" coils (780's) after any initial break-in settlement? Seems like the feedback is nominally good on the Dobs rear leaf pack. Using Dobs rear shackles or something else (Coachbuilder, etc.)?

Appreciate the good content...you're correct that any sort of feedback on this setup for the 2/2.5G Tundra is very limited.

I can get you a measurement when i go home for lunch. As far as the settlement there is almost none. I recently installed the RCI arapaho bumper (125 lbs) on the stock load springs, and have not noticed any additional settling.

As far as the rear pack, I bought the greasable pins, and just re-used the rear stock shackles. Which in turn does not allow you to use the greasble pins but I greased the bushings and just slid them on. no issues so far. This is the rear measurement from hub center.
