It would be plug and play but the break out harness doesn't support Toyota; requires tapping pin 1 of the "GO" pedal.

I'm adding it to the list of shit I don't need.

Only gripe is there doesn't seem to be a way to tune it at home.

    NICE!
The only thing I'm not looking forward to will be having to likely install another, slightly shorter serpentine belt. I think I donate more blood to the drain in the shop floor routing belts than anything else.

Do you know if your engine was built with larger piston ring gaps to handle more boost? If they were gapped for 15+ PSI boost and If they keep knock under control, they might be fine with 93. E85 would cool things off considerably, but expensive to do on our rigs as would require a standalone ECU like the Motec mentioned.

Once you start getting up to 20+ PSI though, regardless of ring gap, you're going to need something to cool off the charge, whether it be E85, or Water/Meth, or Nitrous...heat's going to be a problem.

I didn't look around at shorter belts so we'll have to see how that works... Larger pulleys have a lot more circumference change albeit more grip length for the belt so we'll have to see how it plays out. The 77.5mm is about an inch less circumference, and the 70mm is about two inches. I don't know how much belt length engagement there is, would you be able to get a picture of that? There's a Gates 115.0625" belt which is about 1.125" shorter than the stock belt, so that may work for one of those pulleys.

As @armyoffoo stated you can tune for water/methanol injection running 93. Especially if e85 is hard to find. You'll get cooler IAT's. There's the upfront cost but it pays off.

Speaking of rings did you ever get the Total Seal rings installed or is that for the built bottom end?

Not sure how Nat Speed was doing E85, been a while since I asked about "Stage 4". No Motec was required or at least not listed in their parts list, total package was $20K about $6K over Stage 3 (basically headers + Stage 2 + all the PS upgrades + TB)

Nope, still sitting on the shelf with all the other parts...I need to call the engine shop and see about getting on their schedule, and stop procrastinating. I need to get the mains line honed for studs and I bought bigger valves from XAT that I need to get head work done to accommodate, then I'll have them measure clearances and static compression.

Few dependent things here. Boost level and octane. You can only run so much boost and timing on pump gas. More octane more timing more power. Or displacement etc

Makes sense. They are both enriching with an alcohol.

E85 seems like a pain to run especially if there isn't an abundance of stations nearby.

I'd hope so, methanol has an effective octane significantly higher than that of ethanol lol your effective octane rating with a blend of pump gas + methanol would be much higher than with pump gas + E(xx)

First tank of gas through the truck since the blower install. Stock Maggie tune on tvs2650. 12.4mpg

I have been driving 50% normal and 50% buffoon. Not too shabby.
