Harrop may have a part number for a spacer if it is a universal part, I'm reading 14086-0:

Oh good point  the only thing I'd need dimensions on then is to match the external profile of the supercharger to make it less ugly.

Too bad this Harrop to 90mm adapter is kind of sized the opposite of what you need.

I'm slightly confused as to what I'm looking at. What's the pattern on that thing, RFC to Harrop? Wouldn't it be the same? The Harrop would be patterned to take a stock Tundra TB. The pattern for the 1900, 2650 and the Harrop would all be the same.

Oh shit, I need to make a correction! The outlet of the RCF TB is ~83mm, not whatever I was saying before. Forget that number...

Back to my regularly scheduled confusion.... What's the ID transition on that bad boy?

I was going to tap the dimmer from one of the oem lighted switches as @snivilous suggested, but I first connected w/o using the dimmer function and the Innovate gauge is not overpowering by any means with it fully lit. I decided just to connect the white wire to ground and eliminate the dimmer option.

Just kidding I'm retarded, this is a Whipple. You're right the Harrop adapter would've worked, but it wouldn't have been a smooth transition since the TB side was 90mm, and the blower size was something else (opposite of yours)---plus the Harrop one had holes for a GM throttle body and not the RCF.

I can get a TB spacer made for you, but theyre not cheap, the last ones I think were $200 a piece. Or if you know a local machinist I can send you the CAD.

    Many on the way.
My TVS1900 has stock TB over bored to 80mm, and tapers/transitions to 83mm. The o-ring groove on the snout (which has an ID of 83mm) is filled with an aluminum ring, then the old inner diameter is ported out to 83mm ID of o ring groove. The Lexus IS-F uses a nearly identical 76mm throttle body, but uses a MLS gasket in place of the the O-ring, so sealing things up is easy with an off the shelf part. Pics if anyone is interested in pursuing this path.

Has anyone considered redrilling the bolt pattern on the TVS2650 snout to allow the RC-F throttle to directly bolt up? What about over boring the 84mm? I have an RC-F unit here, I’ll see if there’s enough meat in the casting.

When ı contcted Maxbore he said he could get another 3mm in diameter out of the RC F. About a 7% increase in area. For about $150.

Contact Bruce at the CA office. He is a good guy. I believe @Wynnded had a warranty issue.

I ordered a set in March 2023. After I installed them I had starting issues with them, but otherwise they ran fine. I thought that it was a startup airflow issue with my tune. I messed with the tune for months. I changed back to my TRD set and the issue resolved. Back to the FiveOs and it returned. I emailed FiveO about the matter and they insisted that it was my tune. I even purchased two additional injectors thinking that I may have received a bad one. About mid September and after much back and forth via email, they agreed to test the original set of 8 and got back to me saying that five of them were out or spec. Some more emailing and they finally agreed that to my sending the additional two injectors back and that they would send out a completely different set of 8 injectors. I've touched base with them from time to time and they've replied that they're waiting to get some from their supplier. In the most recent email from them, I was offered a set or lower flowing units rather than the agreed upon original rated set. They offered 550s in lieu of the 750s. I explained that they would not flow enough for my application and I restated that they needed to be the 750s. This last email looks to have been about 18 days ago. I think today would be a good time to touch base with them again....

    TL;DR
    Not quick at all.

Bruce is the person that I have been in communication with from the start. He is very easy to talk to, it's still a frustrating situation though. I understand that there are things that are out of their control though and I'm trying to keep that in mind. :tumbleweed:

Magnuson 2650 pulleys are sent out for quote. I'm going with just the 77.5mm that is popular with the Harrop guys, and the 70mm which is about the same as the 2.0" setup I did for the 1900 Magnuson. That should cover the sweet spot of good reliable power at sea level and high elevation.

    upload_2023-11-20_10-46-33.png

I also measured the Harrop pulley that @ViktorG had sent me, it would require a fair bit of modification to work with the Magnuson 2650 but I do think it'd be possible. The rib/mating surface offset is close enough I think it'd be usable, however the bolt pattern is completely wrong and the alignment bore is ~.055" too large. Drilling the front for the mounting holes and using some shim stock as a reducer adapter for the alignment bore could make the Harrop pulleys work on the Magnuson, though that is quite a bit of modification so I decided to move forward with making my own Magnuson ones.

Interesting, my 750s sometimes have a starting issue.A little throttle blip during start up and fires right up. Cold start no issues but hot start sometimes an issue. It hasn't bothered me enough to care honestly lol

It wouldn't surprise me that the way they're going about it is part of their procedure/policy. Test and verify the claimed issue. Their testing determined that the units were dirty. As they were problematic upon install, I claimed that they were that way out of the box and that didn't seem to be an issue with the three other sets that I had swapped in to test starting. What was conveyed to me was that because they were dirty, they reverted to a low flow mode. This didn't make any sense to me as I was experiencing flooding issues at startup. I even sent in the two additional injectors that I purchased as part of the exchange as a way of saying that, hey, you're getting 10 units that I'm guessing you're going to clean and resell, in exchange for 8 different injectors. One was installed and the other was unused. That seemed reasonable to me and what was agree to.

For me the cold starts would usually succeed on the first try, but they were super rich with a black cloud from the tailpipe. Immediate hot starts were okay, but mostly and other start required multiple attempts before it would fire and stumble then it would belch out a bunch of rich black smoke and misfires.

The injectors that I got from @snivilous have been flawless without a single stutter or misfire.

@snivilous? I think that they were what Prospeed sends out. They're advertised as 750s but Sniv says they're actually about 720cc. They also utilize what Sniv lovingly calls the "janky" wiring adapters. The box they were in was labeled as being from Fuel Injector Development.

That's why it was thought that it might have been an airflow adjustment, as I'm at a high elevation.

I used to recommend the Five-Os since they're totally plug and play and non of the janky Prospeed shit, but after @Wynnded I think the Five-Os are off my radar. Either DW, or Prospeed. The Prospeeds seem pretty good, and the one issue I heard about recently they sent an entire set of injectors out to replace them on the spot so the customer service seemed pretty good.

I had heard/read on more than 1 occasion to avoid the Five-O’s but didn’t really know why. @snivilous if you sent wynnded your Prospeeds, what are you running in yours these days?
