Hey y'all! I just bought my first Toyota Tundra, I've got a 2003 access cab!

I'm very new to cars and I'm trying to learn how to maintain this one myself, so I'm here for some advice.
My radio doesn't work, seems like there's absolutely no power getting to the radio. I assume the fuses are good because my cigarette lighter, power windows, and lights still work, and I've pulled the center console off to make sure everything was plugged in correctly, so what could be the problem?

    Thanks y'all!

Small detail: Is this the factory radio, or an aftermarket radio?

There is a radio fuse under the hood #16 in engine compartment fuse box and another in the passenger compartment driver side.

Ooooooh, I didn't realize there was a fuse specifically to the radio, I'll definitely check that one!

Okie, I changed the fuse and made sure the radio was plugged into the center console but it's still not working. Any suggestions before I pull the radio out and start messing with it?

You know the center dash bezel, the larger piece that holds the A/C controls, the clock, the 4WD buttons? If I recall, the radio itself requires the plug that powers the clock to be plugged in for the radio to work. I guess the easiest way to ask this is: Is the clock getting power? Are the lights in the center dash behind he A/C controls and stuff working?

Has anyone done anything under the rear seat, on the passenger's side? Unplugged anything inside the cubby, for example?

It's possible the OEM radio shit the bed, but that wouldn't be a "typical" thing to happen. We keep track of a lot of issues on here, and I've heard of people losing sound in the rear, or to all speakers.

The center dash controls MUST be plugged in for the radio to get power. If you removed it to get to the radio, you will have to plug it back in to test the radio.

The center dash controls are plugged in and the radio is plugged into the center dash, the clock and all of the dash buttons work

Not sure about under the seat but I'll definitely look at that as well!

The reason I ask, I know with the double cabs at least, if memory serves (sometimes it doesn't) there's a power feed from the OEM amp up to the dash. I get fuzzy if they started putting the OEM amp in the rear passenger cubby in '03 or '04. I want to say it started in '03.

If the cubby under the rear passenger seat has a black plastic cover inside, and someone was in the rear cubby, I'd check to make sure the amp under the cubby is plugged in. This is the black cover, removed, and the amp.

Some earlier trucks had the amp in the dash right here:
