I just bought my first Tundra after selling my 2014 Tacoma last year. My Tacoma was pretty built out on 37s, F/R lockers, +2 TC LT, 4.88s, bypasses, hydros, etc but I sold it to help buy a house. In the meantime, I built up a 2013 Ford E250 Van, but I've missed having a truck so I started looking into 1GT's. I feel like this truck is everything I wished my Tacoma was. It actually has enough power to get out of its own way and pass people on the freeway plus it's not huge.

    2006 4x4 TRD Offroad
    Superwhite/Black Interior
    Raceline Polished Wheels in 16x8"
    Falken AT4W in 265/85R16
    Leer 100XR Camper Shell
    Sherpa Cab Rack
    Sherpa Crows Nest Shell Rack

    Suspension:
    Total Chaos Upper Control Arms
Total Chaos Expedition Series Lower Control Arms
Total Chaos Uniball Ball Joint Replacements
Total Chaos Poly Steering Rack Bushings
ADS 2.5 Coilovers with Adjusters and Reservoirs
    ADS 2.5 Rear Shocks
    Archive Garage Leaf Springs
    Durobumps
    Ark Splash Guards

    Electrical:
    8 Switch SPOD
    Baja Designs ONYX6 30" Lightbar
Baja Designs Squadron Pros (does anyone make fog light buckets for these trucks?)
Baja Designs S2's for the rack
    Dometic Fridge
    100w Zamp Solar Panel
    DJI 1000 Battery Bank

This forum was a great resource when I started looking into these trucks, so I'm super grateful for that! I plan on adding the new decked system in the back and will be posting about how I make that work since they still don't make a 1GT version...I like making YouTube videos and documented my van build on there. I plan on doing the same for this truck. If you wanna check it out, I'll link it in this thread.

Welcome aboard. Nice looking rig. If you haven't already, you may want to peruse this thread. While he'll say differently, @shifty` is the 1GT guru around here. it's a great place with a lot of helpful people.

That roof rack on the camper shell is nice. What rack did you go with? What is your overall height now?

I actually don't know what brand it is there's no name on it but it came on the shell with the truck. I may end up selling this shell in favor of a slightly higher one since we plan on sleeping in the back.

Does anyone make any fog light buckets out surrounds for Baja squadrons on these trucks?

I don’t believe so I’ve seen where a few people have modified a blank fog light bucket and adapted some lights to fit.

Nice truck you always have the cleanest rigs lol I’ve followed since the white Tacoma and I’m liking the van build you have going on

For a 2007 tundra? You mean like a factory kit for Baja?

Who makes the best headlights for these trucks? I know a lot of people use aftermarket ones but in my experience those always leak. Are there any non OEM ones worth looking at?

Big weekend for the truck! Installed the Archive Garage HD Shackelton kit with their super bumps and a Snugtop Hi-Liner Shell. I'll do a full write-up on the suspension install soon.

@inv3ctiv3 I'm curious about the height you have with the AG leafs, and what shocks you're running in the back. How much rake do you have?
Good looking truck by the way.

It is way higher in the back right now because there's no weight besides the shell. My decked system isn't here yet but once that's in loaded up with my tools and camp gear it should be perfect. I have Eibach shocks in it right now but will be doing the archive 12" relocation kit with Kings front and rear.

Well I had to return my snug top hiliner….we got some rain and the entire bed of the truck was soaked. It was leaking like a civ from every single window and through the carpet like it was soaking through a crack or something. Being that I paid $1700 for this from a dealership, I felt this was unacceptable, but luckily, they agreed and refunded me. That said I'll be on the lookout for another white mid/high roof shell if anyone finds one!

Installed squadron pros using second gen brackets. No modifications are required but doing a YouTube video on it along with installing the onyx6 and an SPOD.

    Hey @inv3ctiv3,

How was the installation of the fog lights and OnX6 Bar to the sPOD unit? I know you had an identical setup on your Tacoma with this lighting package. How do you enjoy the light spread? Is there another lens pattern you would change up?

    Best,
    Bill

The fogs install very easily I'll do a full write up on it in this thread so people can use it as a tool to install their own. I actually have the fogs hooked up to the OEM fog harness and will be installing the SPOD soon. Nobody makes an SPOD mount for the 1st gen so I'll have to make something to mount it in the engine bay.

    Hey, @inv3ctiv3

Just watched your video install on the onX6+ & fog lights! Rad video, I can't wait to see more updates as your build progresses. With the sPOD unit, we currently do not have a dedicated mount, but within the kit, you should have received a universal bracket that will allow you to mount it on the stock fuse box. If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me at bill@bajadesigns.com.

    Best,
    Bill
