    Interesting. Hadn't thought of that.

Can you simulate the old key procedures with these push button options?

Interesting little development. Won't know until tomorrow if it pans out though.

I got a call from a Toyota dealer this evening because the truck called home to notify about the check engine light. I was like whaaaat how did you know to call me lol. Apparently the truck was still under the trial period for Connected Services or something. I downloaded the app and it shows a last update time of 12:18pm today. Which is shortly after I left the body shop. I think I left closer to 11:30. Anyways, I'm wondering if it took some time with the new battery in for some electronic modules to become active again? Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Techstream from Amazon supposed to arrive by 11am. Got my toolbag packed.

Didn't make it to the shop today but I called them and had them do a test start. Same issue remains.

Just finished installing Techstream. Hopefully it pinpoints the issue tomorrow

OK, found extra codes related to the throttle position sensor. But they are permanent and not clearing. Researching now

Did you unplug the MAF while the battery was still connected? I got some of these codes when I was troubleshooting my truck stalling, it was mainly by direction from my brother who was trying to help me diagnose a no start issue from 300 miles away. So you may be chasing your tail on this one.

No, the maf has stayed plugged in. If I can't figure it out in next day or so I'm calling insurance back to add this to the list. Probably need a dealer visit

Good luck with this. Probably something related to the install and then removal of the SC. You retrace all the components you swapped out? All the connectors? The tune? The injectors? Something seems to be left over or left out after the swap back to stock. I wouldn’t believe that this was related to the collision.

I'm wondering if I use HPTuners to turn off the three permanent codes, if that may allow it to start and not stall...

I've traced over everything and it all seems in order. I drove it to the first shop after removing the s/c and reverting back to stock, it sat for a month, and I drove it home. Sat at home for two months with one door slightly open (couldn't shut all the way) and then the battery drained and these problems started

    No evidence of rodent damage?

Not from top side of engine bay. Will be back tomorrow for more t/s. Just wanted to make sure I wouldn't grenade anything by turning off the codes with the Tuner and trying it that way.

I would do a test for a parasitic draw at this point, otherwise you will just be drawing straws and never get to the bottom of it.

I keep meaning to bring maf cleaner with me...

Tomorrow I will. We did remove the maf and it looked new. But will spray some cleaner in there and test the connector for volts.

Edit: also keep coming back to the wiring. I'm going to really go over all the wiring as much as I can tomorrow.
