Finished the wainscot this morning, switched out the old outlets with Decora styled ones, took a nap, caulked and filled the nail holes for half of the room. Hoping to finish caulking, filling, and then sanding the filling tomorrow. Maybe even get some primer on all of the trim. With some luck, I'll be done with the "remodel" by the end of the week.

I forgot to put in here, but not long after I installed a motion sensor. It seems common that the light gets left on in here (typically cuz the wife's hands are full and/or she's got 4 little ones at her feet distracting her). I put it in and had some issues with wiring at first, but got it resolved. Also thought the sensor was crap because it wouldn't turn on once I walked in, but it would when stay on detecting motion because I turned it on. It was simply a setting and just the push of a button took care of it. Simple, yet everything I do seems to be more complicated haha.
I used the one someone suggested in here....so thanks to whomever suggested it.

Speakers, amp, subs, floorboard lights...and the little step thing under the bumper
This was last weekend, but finally installed the hybrid hot water heater (uses heat pump process to heat the water, only uses elements if it needs to). Old water heater energy usage chart was like $740/yr, new one is $108. Did the plumbing in pex-a...like it infinitely more than CPVC...12 fittings with no leaks, that's a new record for me!

that was my suggestion. You’ll like it. I put them in:
    Main floor 1/2 bathroom
    Kitchen pantry
    Master walk in closet
    Daughters walk in closet
    Garage
I may add it to the laundry room too.
I put a dimmer in the master toilet (1/2?) area too so when I get up to pee, it doesn’t wake her. Of course I have dimmers in living room and loft too, but thought the master bath would be a good fit for it

I've got dimmers and 3 way switches in quite a bit of the house. Sensors may get added go a few other rooms soon. Lots are limited for different reasons, but I have a feeling we're gonna add some soon to others

My brother in law picks on me because I put dimmer switches on almost every room.

I have a motion detector switch that I need to install in my mom's garage.

You know there's been moments he's wished he had a dimmer switch in a room that he's mocked you for too lol

It's a little shocking the outlet by the shower passed code inspection.

Your wife did an amazing job on that remodel. Tell her for us. Something I hope she is proud of.

    Did a shop improvement.
I got a Craftsman 60 gal compressor a couple years ago, got it wired up and working out behind my shed. Finally got around to plumbing the inside.

I put way too much thought into doing this over the years and ended up using this product for the piping.
    ADCreHfwh-GAGBwm-HUql0JEkgy7GHLyuSVvrwGx_f71e344981066df19880f7f399587f879cec11d2.jpg

To transition into the shed I used black pipe with a quick connect for easy maintenance.
    ADCreHfIBGMnwxMoAcaZkCLhI9je3bM4UVlF7xXj_88ac594de79f6bb368c562a46dd52bf8adb84b14.jpg

The precut pipe is easy to work with but I wanted the flexibility of the pipe. One of my hobbies is scale models and I use airbrush for painting, that's why the other pressure regulator.

    ADCreHetJA3_2TNYNHdRLO9syDQXLT80_A92cPx7_32f9d966c848f8201d30134784afe49dfbb72a46.jpg

It's a bit out of reach from my bench but I used a bigger gauge so i can read it, ok it's crooked but that's how it lined up. I'm ok with that. I used Loctite thread lock to seal the threads, testing this out before I got to far it sealed up nicely. Fella on youtube did it so how can I go wrong? I'm going to put pressure on it tomorrow, wish me luck.

To quote my self, I did pressure and leak test today. Cranked up the pressure regulators and squirted windex on the joints. Not a leak anywhere!

Forward looking camera, Stub Antenna, 3M clearshield. A few other non lifted items.
Had the concrete guy bring in a load (1.5 cu yd) of river rock to fill the French drain. I did have a skin on the perforated pipe but also added a layer of weed blocking fabric over it before adding the rock to keep dirt out. A before and after photo (different days). An hour after we finished a thunderstorm came in with a LOT of rain, and the drain worked well, no pooling on the driveway nor grass. Success.

So many home improvement projects on the list at the moment...but like an idiot I decided to help out my former employer by working a little extra after hours and on Saturdays. Good people and company, plus a little extra cash, so I don't regret it, but it does limit time I could spend working on the house and truck projects.

I have a room left in my whole house reflooring project, then need to install quarter round moulding throughout the house. Some rooms to repaint. Light fixtures to update throughout the house. Siding in the back that has a bit of damage on the bottom couple of rows.

Thankfully that extra work I'm doing is for home builders and I'm able to get some of the things I need that would otherwise have been thrown out despite being brand-new (light fixtures, a few of the Hardie plank pieces that I need). Now I just need time!
