Nova Scotia here as well. I went with a cornfed 1” spacer that installs the same as the lean spacers do, that is above the mount and gets sandwiched in there. My front is 2 1/4” lower than the rear so this way I’ll still have about 1” of rake. The nose high front isn’t my thing.

did you get your 24 limited nightshade? That’s what I had on order, but with no eta I grabbed this trd off road when it became available.

I gave my 22 Tacoma to the wife, like the size of the tundra, traded the 20 tundra she drove in on it for more than I paid new 4 years ago.

    I’m outside Truro.

scroll down to 2nd from last kit. This is the Canadian section of cornfed’s website.

First things first, I needed to tint my windows. With 30 miles on the odometer, I drove down to my tint spot and got 15% all around and 50% on the windshield. Needless to say, I am very happy with the outcome.

Nice! I would love to tint my windshield but in Arizona you basically get a rock smashed into your windshield at least once a month. There was a period a couple of years ago where I got my windshield replaced 4 times in 6 weeks.

Few shops will give you free tint with windshield replacement through insurance. BlackoutAZ is one I know of.

Do you have install instructions? And when you ordered the Toyota trim piece did it automatically come with the other 2 small pieces or are those separate part numbers?

Just had my audio system install completed.
Guys knocked it out of the park. Took em the entire day. Picked it up the next day.

BTW, drive her about 18 hours round trip. Used 0w-30 Mobile European formula with an oem oil filter. She ran like a beast!!

Got about 13.5 mpg. I have a heavy foot in her defense. Absolutely impressed how she soaks up the miles.

93 ultra gasoline @ 4.19 to 3.99 a gallon. Man she pulls hard. Very steady with the wide 18+ wheels and Falken Wildpeaks. JB4 set to map1.

WOW! that set up is crazy! Is that sub box offered by someone? I had a full JL set up in my last truck and loved it. I've been considering adding a sound system to my todo list.

So I got tired of the dead pedal on take off from a yield or slow roll through the toll booth. Yes I did the TSB software update from the dealership but I still was experiencing a slight delay.
    Went with Pedal Commander.

I don’t know why others are not recommending the Pedal Commander.
It solved my problem tremendously. I wanted something that solved the slight delay when pushing down on the pedal. I did my research and also it was recommended by a veteran Mechanic who owns a 2017 Tundra and 2014 Tacoma and has a Pedal Commander in both trucks.

    Nothing yet, brand new.
Got the RetraxOne XR on Wednesday of this week and had my front windows tinted Monday. Ordered my black emblems and tailgate inserts + a bed step and that will be it for the truck mods for a while. We have our first baby on the way and I am concentrating finances towards family. Any new dad advice is welcomed in my PM’s. Lol - my next mod will probably be a car seat!

Most likely because of experiences like this one. Worked fine for 2.5 years then whamo. I think it has happened more than once.

Well hopefully the units have been updated since. It has been a couple of years since this persons incident and I haven’t seen anymore posts since. Thanks for the heads up. I know my Toyota Mechanic friend has had his Pedal Commanders for over 3 years now and he really like them. For now I’m going to give the Pedal Commander a try. The delay I had before made me feel like a sitting duck in the middle of the road. I guess worse case I can always unplug and reconnect the factory way.

I installed the Westcott levers today. I fear I may have let the key rotate when I was trying to put on the bolt. If I have the levers set the same, what is an acceptable variance in height between the sides? If I did let the passenger side rotate, which way do I rotate it to get it to come back down a little?
