I believe I’ve read enough in the forums to find that where there’s very little performance game for modifying the exhaust and even hurting performance. But I would like just a little deeper sound and definitely nothing that will be heard down the street.

I remember reading a few threads where there was an expert on this topic who could provide the parts but now I can’t find it

I believe it was very simple modification with little effect on performance

Not sure if you are thinking @dirtydeeds. He has exhaust systems.

Borla makes a nice bolt on kit for the gen 1 Tundra. I have a couple friends who have been extremely pleased with the Borla kits they have purchased and they range from V6’s-V8’s. I’m actually looking at replacing my factory exhaust down the road with one of these Borla kits. What it comes down to is how much are you wanting to spend? I have had series 40 flowmaster mufflers on a couple vehicles in the past and currently have one on my FJ60 and I love the sound of It. They also held up over time and are relatively inexpensive. It will also be much cheaper than buying an exhaust kit from Borla.
