Just in case anyone's curious, I have been doing some research and calling around and the grill seems to be of low stock probably due to so many Tundra and Sequoia owners (without the pro grill) buying them. Sparksparts was selling them and I think where most people on here were getting them, but they are currently unavailable and I emailed to see if they could provide more information and an if/when they may be available.

After calling my local dealership they said they are available for $500, but you have to have a Sequoia with a VIN that comes TRD pro grill, so I assume a TRD PRO Sequoia. Hopefully they come back in stock especially on sparksparts because at the time they were around $350 rather than $500 from the dealership. Maybe if someone has a friend that has a TRD Pro Sequoia they may be able to order one from the dealership for $500, but that seems to be the only option. I haven't seen any knock-off pro grills or else I would just order that.

I have seen some on eBay, but they are either out of stock or want $700+.

I will have an MGM Sequoia Pro grill and OEM Sequoia bumper for sale in the near future if anyone is interested, I’d like to sell them together.

I just finished my update and have GOOD NEWS…one, it’s pretty straightforward and looks AWESOME…two, the TRD Pro Grill IS AVAILABLE from Olathe (Kansas) Toyota. They told me that they will “make it happen”!

As for mine, here’s what I did (note that there are additional numbers/letters that would be added to the grill part numbers for paint color if applicable):

    1. TRD Pro Grill (2022) PT363-0C200
    2. Grille Molding (for top) 53111-0C240
    3. Fender extensions (below headlights) 53932-0C904 and 53931-0C904
    4. Form Lighting LED headlights
    5. Body color door handles and mirror covers (chrome delete)

    And some notes/tips:

    1. I had mine all painted professionally (thankfully have a friend) in Blizzard Pearl to match (grill molding already was available in Blizzard Pearl)
    2. Form Lighting lights are pricey ($950) BUT they are self contained, meaning they have all the LED lights/bulbs in them and adaptors so they are plug and play (many you have to get adaptor plugs AND you have to put in your own bulbs). They also look OEM and have a cool feature where signal light does the “chase” as it’s going off.
    3. I ended up buying two sets of the fender extensions (below headlights). One set I cut holes in for adding the headlight washers that were on existing. I then found a downloadable 3D print file that I got a local person to print the mounting “adaptor” needed. I ended up installing with the headlight washers but the cool thing is I could just swap out and put the other fender extensions on if I wanted (and the headlight washer would just be there behind once you remove the little cover). Of course you’d want to make sure to disable them or not push the button!

As for how “difficult” all this was…I’m simply a guy that likes to work on my own stuff. With help from forums like this, YouTube, Google, etc. I really think anyone can do about anything you need on your trucks if you give it a shot. Form Lighting shows how to do headlights, then Google for things like grill, door handles, mirror covers…really not too bad. Adding/modifying for headlight washers was most difficult part and I probably wouldn’t do it again, but it’s kinda cool to have a unique/rare “TRD Pro Platinum”.

Hope this helps anyone interested in doing it!

I found a Magnetic Gray Metallic grill, that's all I'd need for my 21 Sequoia nightshade for the conversion is that correct? I don't need the top bezel? Is there a sensor behind the Toyota emblem I need to replace?

Yes, you'll be able to reuse the top bezel from your 2021. There is no sensor behind the Toyota emblem as the TSS items are in the lower radiator.

Much appreciated! My bezel is PPF'd and I'd hate to get it redone, I'm going to order it right now.

Any issues with using the latch to open the hood after the grille upgrade?

No, the original latch bolts right on to new grill (same as it did with the original)

I just thought I'd pass this along. I have a 2010 Sequoia and I just installed a 2020 TRD Prog grille and bulge. I found that installing the bulge first to the grille and then installing the complete grille/bulge assembly will ensure that the bulge installs properly without any waves. I just couldn't get all the tabs aligned properly if I installed the grille first followed by the bulge. In fact, there are 2 screws that while probably unnecessary, they can only be installed if you attache the bulge to the grille first. Hope this helps someone. The bulge was a major pain until I figured this out.IMG_5844.jpg

I am looking to do this grill conversion to my 2013 Tundra that @akulo did but i am having a hard time finding the white TRD Pro grill and everything i need. Has anyone done this grill conversion recently?

Toyota Parts/Dealerships stopped selling these grille's to just anybody. Now you need a Sequoia VIN to order it from Toyota parts/dealership. Only route to go is used Ebay/Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace etc. or a replica version from Ali baba. Also keep checking here to see if someone is selling their grille.

That's a bummer! If I do end up finding one online i need to make sure to find the grill but also the over mold pieces as well correct?

Correct. It is a two piece assembly. You have a 2013, so you won't have to worry about grille brackets. The 2007-2009 used different grille brackets.

Check OlatheToyota.com…… they will sell without VIN verification but I last heard wait list is like 3 months.

OlatheToyota.com was able to order me the TRD Pro grill no questions asked but it will take a long time to get it because of a nation backorder.
