Alright, I'm done :). No OEM switch yet, but I may luck out and come across one.

Thank you. I think thats wax , no dents on front. What your seeing is a reflection of my gray t'shirt lol. Previous owner did put some scratches on passenger side. I try to keep it waxed and spray wd40 on inside to prevent rot. Fogs do help the peripheral lighting. Still some fine tuning to do. Who makes the best yellow fogs-non LED. PIAA?

Any help in your guys favorite yellow fog lights would be appreciated.

It is claimed that yellow is better for visibility in fog, but where I live, we don’t get much fog, so therefore I just use them for the extra light

I'm coastal so we get fog especially in winter.
I've got 4 yellow LED pods now.

Been looking for almost a year for a decent used cap in my area. Almost threw down for a new A.R.E MX a couple months back, but decided to wait. Finally found a good condition raised height Leer topper on the local classifieds for $500. Somehow I lucked out and called first and was able to head right over immediately and grab it.

Nice birthday present for the ol' girl turning 150k today.

Awesome. Got any more pics of the camper? Lights/wiring situation? Windows all work? Got keys? If you didn’t get keys, I learned recently that you can just order the key number (usually visible on the cylinder) instead of buying whole new handles/locks.

This is true with most small modern locks, including filing cabinets, etc. Usually the letter+number combo and a Google search will get you to a replacement, even if not from the manufacturer. I typically use CubicleKeys.com because most of what I'm dealing with is datacenter cabinets, desk cabinets, cubicle doors and other BS. But I've found this knowledge translated to a lot of other places, including locking toolboxes, and even shells and campers.

Do you work in the industry? Any idea why they would raise the price right as they roll out KO3's?

I'm guessing to encourage folks to buy four new KO3s, with the side benefit of capitalizing on people who just need one tire, due to blowout or otherwise, because they want to stick with cohesive tires all around.

The KO3's are slightly more expensive than the 2's. I'm assuming they will stop making the KO2's soon enough.

Icon AAL is installed, with overload despite the warning in the instructions "that's not intended", but no post-install pics until tomorrow. Still need to torque down several bolts (wheels, lower spring mount, u-bolt plate, etc.) then go somewhere to shoot pics.

I'm not happy with where the rivet on the AAL pack would contact the overload (pic below). I'm gonna get a few friends to sit in the back in the coming days, try and get 500-600lb back there and see if the rivet head hits the OL or not.

Numbers look good at the moment. I guess I'll re-measure after getting the truck out tomorrow. It's a good thing I left the overload in, or I'd be almost dead level and that isn't what I was looking for here ...

Looking like I've got about half inch of rake rear to front. And weird how the passenger rear is sitting half inch lower; gas tank is on the driver's side ...

    Edit: Here's the rear before-AAL measurements -

    P Rear: 21.75
    D Rear: 21.5

    Center hub to fender flare

    D Front: 22.75
    P Front: 22.5
    D Rear: 23.375
    P Rear: 23.25

    Ground to fender flare

    D Front: 36.75
    P Front: 36.625
    D Rear: 37.625
    P Rear: 37.25

Pic of that rivet and the overload:

    upload_2023-9-9_20-34-53.png
Oh, and a mid-install pic for extra credit.

No I just was in my local shop in July and got a quote, went back to purchase in beginning of September and was told of the increase in $. I was told the July price no longer even covered their cost.

I know it's apples to oranges here, but I had the wheelers AAL on both my Tacos with the overload.
I didn't use the overload when I installed the wheelers AAL on my Tundra, because flex

Valve cover gaskets. Shoot us some pics of the flange that sites between the valve cover and manifold on both sides.

No clue wtf is up on top of the intake.

Talking more about the oil drip looking things on top of the bolt head, and in misc spots on top of intake. Almost like someone checked the oil directly over the intake manifold, and dripped oil all over.

Looks great, let us know how she rides compared to stock (before swapping out the tires if possible).
Has me itching to do a proper lift - struggling to rob the retirement funds at the moment though...
