Looking at the pictures of all the parts above, it looks like the trim above the grille. However, if you Google search it, it comes up with an older model grille. Could be a mistake on Toyota's part. I'm having the same issue identifying that correct part number.

You’re missing part 52117D that makes everything work and fit together oem how it should, this was left out of my kit as well. Adventure motors really screwed up my order as well. Multiple hours spent researching and going into Toyota and attempts to figure this project out but once I did everything bolts together really well.

The part number is 52117-0C050. For anyone else doing this project you will want new parking sensor retainers. Or you can scrape the old double sided tape off. Took me long enough to where I wished I bought new retainers though. Also when piecing the new bumper together, every small silver screw that is used to piece the tundra bumper together will be used to piece the sequoia bumper together.

You will also want a camera relocation bracket and 8 of the 51451F retainer clips (you can get the exact part number on that from Toyota.

Am I correct that the parking sensor retainers are parts 89C48D (2) and 89C48E (2) on the diagram above?

Not an absolute necessity as I made it work by scraping off old tape and applying new double sided tape but up to you. Yes those are correct.

Thanks for chiming in and cleanin up my mess. I’ve been a bit distracted lately. I wish I had a bag full of those screws when I swapped.

Late to this party, but I didn’t have a stellar experience with AM either. Box arrived in bad shape, I didn’t think their website was clear and was surprised I had to purchase the main bumper cover (arguably the largest most visible part of the entire conversion)…but came to be OK with that because I saw how I became confused and the part was incredibly only $219 and the shipping would have been ridiculous (it’s huge)!

They did not include two pieces in my kit, one known and one that was left out or fell out. TBH, they made right by it and sent it, but a lot of back and forth and delay with getting my truck “done” because I took it to my body shop to have everything done.

The biggest issue I had, they’ve ghosted me! I tried literally for months to have them send me the last piece they said was on back order! OK, but then after I continued to contact them they said they had them and would send it right out…sorry for the delay. And it has never come, even after multiple reach outs. FWIW, that was the left side duct tube. And the part they forgot or fell out, was the same as previously mention by someone else 52117-0C050 (Front bumper support…which is critical! I had to figure it out myself and tell them!). Also, FWIW, total of 12 or 13 parts IIRC. The intake tubes X2 (left/right) and the small grill pieces that go under the lights X2 (left/right) everything else 1 of each.

I have since ordered the left side intake tube myself to finish it completely and right. But here is before / after.

Absolutely incredible. Literally takes the complete embarrassment of a front grill and makes it look fantastic. 1000% the 2026 refresh will have a completely different grill. If a dealer offered this as a package price with install with your first oil change they would make a killing. The "Butterface Mod Package" and people would be lining up a mile down the road.

I don’t want to totally tank the AM guys. I knew I could source the parts myself cheaper, they aren’t in business to lose money so at a minimum handling, shipping, etc… but they didn’t make much for their efforts, I promise you that. Toyota, intentionally or not, does not make finding the parts (with any level of confidence) easy. Now that I know the parts I can find them easily enough, but without schematics, dealer know how (they’ve got an insider no doubt) and knowing to purchase something anyway when it clearly says “Tundra” and you know it’s for a Sequoia (and you need it) is worth something. I did also have some good conversations with them where they were quite cordial toward getting this done. But there were more hiccups than necessary and then to just stop communicating costing me another $130 just doesn’t sit well. /rant off

Glad you like it, I think it was worth every penny. 1) looks way better and 2) doesn’t look like “everyone else’s”!

    cheers!

P.S. - the red TRD grille badge came from Etsy, as I wanted it to mimic the red insert on my factory TRD O/R grille. A little finagling/tweaking and it sits like it was made to go there.

I am going to share a couple of more nuggets I stumbled across on my journey. May/may not be of interest to you.

My truck is a 1794, so…I’ve got chrome. A few thoughts in my head:
    1) I don’t hate the TRD Pro Grille, but my truck isn’t one, I’m not trying to pretend it is one. As you can see I haven’t put a light bar and amber marker lights in (yet??? - dunno).
    2) My truck is a TRD O/R, so even though I have some chrome…it came factory with the “graphite gray” TRD O/R grille w/Toyota emblem (w/blue accent to be precise, since it’s a hybrid). It is similar in style/color to the TRD Pro, but Pro has “TOYOTA” letters. I know this crew knows these details. Just means it looks “similar” to as delivered from factory.
    3) I thought some chrome “might” be nice so I did some digging.

The Sequoia has at least three grille options. 1) TRD Pro - 53114-0C530 (what is in my pic obviously), 2) Platinum grille - believe this to be
    53114-0C500, and 3) Capstone grille - 53114-0C520 I know because I bought/have one.

I did this by literally just plugging numbers into the Toyota parts system. The only difference in description between the “Platinum” (-0C500) and “Capstone” (-0C520) in the system was the addition of the word “Premium” ( IIRC or something similar) making me think it was the “higher end” one. Otherwise same, even price was exactly the same. Remember, Platinum is more black, Capstone more chrome. I’ll post a pic of a what I believe is a platinum grille, what isn’t included (and I don’t yet have [or even P/N? ], I think is needed for both) is the thin chrome trim ring you see around the perimeter.

This is just a random pic I took of a Seqouia, to get proper orientation of sensors (another story!!)
IMG_5919.jpg And here is a pic of the -0C520 still in the box in my garage.
    IMG_5550.jpgEnjoy!

Ugh, just got this today, the saga continues. Second time in as many months I’ve tried to order this left (driver ) side intake tube myself!

FYI, my body shop misplaced the hood seal since it was there for over a month!IMG_7828.jpg
This isn’t a dealership thing, they source nationally.

Has anyone received one of these that has done the conversion?

I take it if one was to consider doing this conversion probably best to wait a while till all parts come in stock?

Sorry if it is hard to tell from the pics…but my truck is Wind Chill Pearl White. Two pieces required painting, top header panel forward of the hood, and the “giant” bumper cover (all of the rest of the white forward the fenders) if you look closely you can see the separation between the two.

Apparently a pretty hard color to color match, even with a brand new truck (mine was 2 months old when I converted it). It took them two attempts to match it, first try was way too “yellow”. Body shop warned me, they’ve experienced the difficulty before. I’ve worked with them many times before, so I trusted them to get it right before they called it “done”.

I did take it to a VERY good, highly rated and recommended wrap shop nearby. They guy told me he had no wrap to match the color and flake in the paint. He went inside and came out with five samples from his book. Compared all of them to the paint, one was pretty close, but the flake was just not fine enough. He admitted he’d love the business but said if it was his he’d have it painted so it was a perfect match.

Or source all of your parts as you can and when you have them all acquired, get the parts painted / wrapped and then assemble / have assembled. The only part I am missing is the left intake tube and it can be assembled without it, but you know it isn’t finished if you’re looking specifically at it.

Unfinished (left intake tube not installed). Notice the tabs in the opening instead of smooth black plastic edge and tube present. Also the fender/bumper cover gap tightens up when the tube is installed as it provides support to snap/screw the two together there.
    IMG_7832.jpg

    Finished (right intake tube installed)
    IMG_7831.png

Thought I’d include a pic where you can see the cab/bed so you didn’t think I was just sharing pics of a Sequoia all along and just BS’ing y’all! :D

Did you have to recalibrate your parking sensors after changing everything over?

I love the look, and mine is Wind Chill Pearl as well. Going to do this mod sometime in the not too distant future.

Not to drag this out, the simple answer is NO. There is no recalibration of the sensors required.

The longer answer… I mentioned something in an earlier post about sensors (taking a pic of a Sequoia to check), because my body shop installed the sensors facing the wrong direction. They have a “wedge” in them or a spacer that is a wedge which allows them to remain a bit more perpendicular to the ground with the rake of the truck (I would assume). Mine were oriented wrong and pointed more toward the pavement, so less perpendicular. It made my sensors go off way too easily…I had to swap them back to the proper orientation. I would think this is why lifted/leveled trucks *may* require recalibration because it changes the angle and/or the height of these and what they expect to “detect” is not providing a strong enough return signal.

Lesson - there are a lot of details to pay attention to when doing this swap. A bunch of items, screws, clips, wiring have to be reused with the new parts…some moved around just a bit. It isn’t rocket science, but having everything there at once to compare and paying attention to detail is important. Again, I have a good body shop but this took too long and people forget things over a month period (and things get misplaced - like my hood seal)!
