Sorry if this discussion is posted elsewhere.

On my 2017 SR5, I currently run Pedal monster throttle controller, works flawlessly, no problems. I’m considering adding a remote start, specifically Start-X. Both connect to the OBD port on the vehicle. Banks Engineering sells a universal OBD-II splitter which allows for two devices to be connected to the OBD II port. Has anyone done this or something similar and if so, did you have any problems with having two devices connected to the OBD port with a splitter?

I run their splitter. I run my ScanGauge 3 and my Pedal Monster. I have to run the PM in "NO OBD" mode for the SG to work correctly. You would have to reach out to @ToyFan or call Banks directly with your question regarding the remote start. You might be fine running the PM as normal and adding the splitter to power the remote start.

When you order the remote start from 12volt solutions it includes a splitter so that you have an empty obd in the stock location to plug what ever else in, i use an OBDlink mx+ along with my remote start daily and even run techstream through the split.

I chose the Autometer OBD II splitter because the ends have mounting holes so I could fasten them to the underside of the dash panel. I have a Verizon Hum wifi device plugged into one end and my Phoenix Automotive HU plugged into the other. No issues.

Just as an FYI, i just installed the 12Volt Solutions remote start and it worked nicely with my already installed Pedal Monster throttle controller. Both devices work as intended and I did not have to use the No OBD feature on the throttle controller.

Does the Banks Pedal Monster safe reverse feature work on a 2021? I heard some owners say it doesn’t so I’m guessing it depends on the model year.
