I’m a big fan of mud terrains. Might be my next tire. Or the Baja mt.

Not sure I’ll be in Vegas for work this November debating on driving down to run some trails while in town.

Anyone gone from 13.5's to 12.5's? I'm trying to convince myself 1" smaller isn't a big deal

Anyone running +35 offset with 37s?

Also, will the 1/2” bumper spacers be enough to clear 37s or will cutting the bumper still be required?

Sorry I can’t attest to the stock front bumper, but I have found 35mm offset is the best at clearing body mount and able to have a 12.5 width without rubbing on the UCAs.

I have the +35's. I already had the BMC so no problem with clearance there. The front of the fender was spaced with Coach builder spacer plus my mechanic was able to push it back another inch + by removing the bolts and re drilling them. Looks factory under there and clears the 37"s with the +35 offset. If you follow the line of the fender well you can see how the bumper spacer moved the front bumper slightly forward.

In terms of offroad capabilities, 12.5 maybe not as bad as you would think, if not better than 13.5
personally I would not want to put more strain and mod/trim than I have to, so 12.5 for me.

Thanks! I actually watched that last night. Love that dudes channel. I think I'm going to the 12.50 - I'm on 13.5 now and love the aesthetics but I hate the 18" wheels on my truck. Going to 17" SSW Dakars and the 12.50 will hopefully help me clear the coachbuilder tie rod ends I have. Need to measure a few times to triple check before pulling the trigger. I mostly hit light trails and the beach more than anything.

Is there an advantage to a wheel being hub centric on our trucks?

I’ve decided on 17” Methods but I understand they are not hub centric. Does it matter?

Did you get the BMC done to clear or are you clearing without chopping?

Your truck looks great! When you say the front of the fender was spaced, are you referring to the bumper spacers or something else?

I have a bumper spacer and the plastic on the bottom was pulled in an additional 1/2"to 1 inch by pulling the bolts out and then drilling and replacing the bolts while holding the plastic in. Gives you a little extra space right on the bottom area where those mini flaps were at the front of the wheel well.

Which 37” tire runs closest to an actual 37 inches? I was at the tire shop and the KO2’s were definitely shorter than the Toyo Open Country A/T.

I pulled the trigger on 17” Method 305 NV in a +25 offset. Now I just need help on deciding what tire to go with that is a true 37”.

Guys with +35 offset, does your wheel rub on front sway bar? (If installed)

Amazing, thank you for sharing. I always wondered if there was a smaller than OEM brake kit, tired of my balancing weights smashing into my calipers on my 17s

Funny you mention that, I was just looking at those. I love the looks but torn between the M/T and A/T. I don’t want it too loud on highways.

I just drove from southern Arizona to Colorado (Grand Junction was the furthest north) and I had no problems. I drove a very long ways with nothing playing but the AC and I was good. I just removed Nitto Ridge Grapplers that had around 32K on them and they were much louder than what I have now.

    Just my $.02

Oh so you have the MT Baja Boss M/T’s?

Can you post some pictures of your truck with them? You may have just sealed the deal for me.

Edit: I’m a moron, you posted them above.

Yep, I’m sold on those tires.

Just ordered ADS front and rear setup, SPC UCAs, Dobinsons add a leaf.

Already have the 17” Methods with +25 offset.

The shop I’m having the work done at is recommending their body mount relocation kit. They said they can do the standard BMC but can’t guarantee no rubbing down the road. They recommend just doing the relocation.

Big price difference between the relocation and BMC. I’m not doing the work because I’m no welder. I’m just hoping I can get away with the chop. I’m already dropping tons of cash. This is a good Toyota specialty shop and they say that it always becomes an issue with rubbing on 37s at some point if I don’t do the relocation which admittedly is making me second guess things and maybe just go with 35s. Help smack some sense into me, lol!
