Anyone swap the TRD Pro Rigids for the Amber Rigid Industries fogs?

I used to just get the amber I wanted with the plastic covers that go on top, but I'm having an issue with my existing fog and need to replace it anyway so I'm thinking of just buying the amber ones instead of white to replace.

Just wanted to make sure these will fit in the TRD Pro bezel the same way the ones that come on the truck do?

    Here's the product I'm talking about: https://www.rigidindustries.com/d-series-pro-sae-fog-yellow-pair-504816.html

too funny, I just had my OE fog light go out again and I think much of it has to do with the shotty fit in the entire assembly, so all day I've been down the fog light rabbit hole. After talking to two of my friends they both suggested the Baja Designs and for my '16 Pro its the SS3 Squadron. I still think i need to ziptie the whole thing though to minimize the vibration.

From what I read the Rigid D Series needs some other modifications to make it work

I feel like fog lights have been the only thing on my mind for the past week. I just put the zip ties in to hopefully fix my issue, but if the wiring harness moves at all, the light could either strobe or just go off. I guess I could just replace the one fog light with the OEM TRD Pro light. I wouldn't get the amber lights, but at least I'll have a working fog

I'm definitely pulling the trigger on the BD's. Might just wait it out a bit for a coupon.

It looks like the BD's are circular and the TRD Pro bezel is a square, are you getting new bezels for those?

Ah interesting, I think they may have changed it to the square bezel when they did the facelift for the 2019 model. I know they skipped the 2018 model year for a minor redesign

I just posted a thread on replacing the rigid oem with DD SS3 Amber. I modified the oem bracket and housing to accept other pods and hold them secure.

The OEM rigids have a unique mount design that clips into a housing rather than using theaded fittings like traditional aftermarket pods. So it’s not a plug n play.
