Well I replaced both purge valves, and after a month the CEL came back. Same code as before.

 

Do you have a write up on your entire truck? I see so many cool things you've done, want to see em all.

 

Dude, these look awesome! Did you need to get different under headlight pieces? what kind of headlights? where from?

 

These are the Form Lighting headlights that replicate the 2018 - 2021 Sequoia headlights. They come with the plastic trim that you have to paint match.

I think these are actually VLAND headlights that Form Lighting repackaged as their own. So you can save $$$ by buying from VLAND but I’m not sure about their support.

 

Took my nerf bars off. They were looking pretty corroded. Might try and clean them up and either sell them or hang on to them. This will also serve as my before pic as I'm getting an icon stage 8 installed in a couple weeks.

 

Not yet but I should make a build thread or maybe a video. Without my post history I wouldn't even know what I've done...

I like the running lights though they aren't continuous circles, but more a series of individual LEDs.

 

Stopped by the stealership and picked up some TRD Supercharged emblems for those few extra ponies! Also installed the dual Radium Engineering catch can kit.

 

After installing the Fox 2.0 struts up front my headlights were a little high so I pointed them down some. Maybe not enough, I'll drive it and see.



Also spotted low coolant and this...



So I guess I'm replacing the radiator at 90k miles. OEM or third-party recommendations? Should I replace the water pump at the same time? Just OEM for that?

Anything else I should do while I have it out? Maybe install a supercharger?

 

The answer to this is always yes.

My radiator had a small crack in the bottom where the plastic was crimped to the metal. I replaced it with a Denso at approx 133K ish and has been good for the last 11K. I did a new Denso T Stat at the same time as the radiator. My water pump also went at about 130K ish but had the stealership do that since we were in the middle of moving at the time.

 

Took off my Pedal commander. Anyone want to buy it?

 

Installed 12 hole fuel injectors. Pretty straight forward, just had to use a pick to pull the old injector seals out. Too early to say how they perform but so far so good.

 

Where did you buy these 12 hole injectors and are they compatible with the 5.7?

Added some Alpharex LUXX series black taillights and new wheels, 20x9.5 Black Rhino Armory. Next up is to blackout all chrome and finalize what bumpers to go with.

 

Gotta love the Gen2 double cab!! Proportions are perfect, even better dressed up!

How much are you selling for?

 

I was looking to do something similar soon. Something like the viper cut? I want to move up to 40’s next year, so this (or different bumper) and a BMC will be needed.

Send like those fog light brackets get in the way of a clean cut?

 

I don’t know about your current suspension set up; but if your CV’s are stock, be careful on the 40s, stock CV’s are known to be able to handle 37s and wheel without breaking, but 40s would be beyond their limit

also if not done, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to truss your spindles

 

I’m running a 12” Bulletproof lift with 38’s now. Not sure if previous owner did the upgrades you mentioned.

 

I highly doubt it, not a thing you do unless you actually wheel your truck you know? The upgraded CVs are like $2k…

I replaced pil in both my ponies. Tundra-moondra and venza-shpenza! Also rotated tirea.

Sienna bobenna - bone stock
Scion TC beecee- factory wheels bent so I found some Prius wheels with great tires used for cheap
Tundra Conundra- TRD sport wheels, aux trans cooler, TRD say bar, sumo springs, softopper, some smaller goodies and 'mods'

 

Installed a "trust me bro, definitely not ARB" compressor today (from Scamazon). Airs up my tires about 3x faster than the Viair 400p that it is replacing. The Viair is still a great compressor though and is going in my brother's truck since he recently learned the value of being able to help yourself off the side of the road
