Well that's good to know! Glad I dumped them and went with the RAS!

    Too many, but not enough....
I wanted the ras for the inch and the +1 together but now I'll settle for the +2 with ras. I have +3 now and it's just a little too much lift. I'd rather have shorter shackles and crank the ras a bit more.

No worries, bilsteins on the second notch and a little bit of air in my rear bags, probably should have said it in the new pic too.

Really don’t want to go to E load tires but want a more aggressive look. Seems I can only find 1 tire not E in 275/70R18…. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire...8GRATXV2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes General Grabber A/TX. Anyone have experience with this tire? Have totally stock 19 SR5 with OR package. Don’t want to deal with any rubbing. A leveling kit is not in the cards right now. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks! If all else fails I’ll just go stock size.

These are what i plan to run. I believe the only reason we get this option is because they are stock on the F150 Tremor. From what i've seen the A/TX get very good reviews. They are a relatively light weight tire too which is nice. Only 5 or 6lbs heavier than stock. General also makes another Grabber with a more street tread in that same size, p-rated also.

Many stock p-rated options. Also look at 265/70 18. They are a 32.6" tire, so slightly taller than stock. This seems to be a popular size going forward. Many p-rated options there too.

Thanks for the info! I want to be sure they don’t rub. I always had luck with my Tacoma going up a size. I’ve heard it’s not as easy with the tundra. Maybe I would have better luck with the 265/70’s

My truck is used as daily driver, boat puller, and some gentle off-road. I don’t get snow where I live. The General ATx (non e rated) is a great tire. Probably one of the quietest AT tires out there. They have great tread life and good traction on wet streets…..something that some other at tires are really bad at. I have owned two sets, and when needed, I’ll own another set.

Bilstein 5100 set at the middle setting (1.5” lift in front only)
In my case, I had a very slight rub at full steering wheel deflection, but I also have a wheel with additional offset.

Ok thanks. I’m assuming it deff will rub on mine with no lift. Looks like I’ll go stock size until I level it.

stock wheels you shouldn’t rub. People get into rubbing with different offset wheels and spacers.

Eibach stage 1 suspension at 2nd from highest setting which I believe is 1.9 inches. Toyo open country at/3 275 70 r18. Fuel vapor with +20 offset. Removed little flaps behind front bumper because of slight rub

You guys with the Non-E rated General, how are they for towing? What does your boat weigh?

My trailer's about 5,500 lbs, just curious since I'd be going to a lower max inflation (44 psi?) from the OEM Michelins @ 50 psi.

The SL Generals tow just fine. Just as good as any other non E rated tire. My boat is not quite as heavy as your travel trailer, but the tires are rated for WAY more load capacity than the truck can handle. I set mine at 35 in the front, 32 in the back. The only time I change that air pressure is when I’ll be driving on the beach. Then I bring them down to about 18-20.

Would this tire and wheel size work with a +1 offset if you just have the truck leveled with bilstein suspension?

Hi is this on stock suspension? No rubbing or trimming? I just got a 2020 sr5 4x4 and the stock tires on them are 255/70 18 and was wondering if I can upgrade to 275/70 18 with no additional lifts or leveling kits

My 2018 stock is 275-65-18. You can confirm but I bet yours was too originally Many people go 275-70s on stock. Scan through this thread and you’ll see a bunch of examples

Edit. I stand corrected. Looks like 255 was also a stock option. Hmmm. I guess because my sr5 had or package I had 275-65. Both are 32”. One narrower of course

I’m running 275/70 18s with my truck leveled with bilstein suspension. Otherwise stock.. I’ve seen others do it.. worse case you might have to trim a bit of the plastic under the fender but shouldn’t need any major modifications
