Will P2445 secondary air injection system pump stuck off bank 1, cause the truck to accelerate slower than normal, And feel like it’s loosing power?

    Yes.
I have had the same code. Has sort of fake limp mode. Takes away hard acceleration and passing gear.

Simple solution is to clear the code. Will get it out of limp until the code comes back. Then either choose to replace SAIP, or bypass. Bypass instructions are available here on the 1st gen forum.

Friendly fyi, some of the bypass kits are faulty. After many phone calls to Hewitt I finally got them to send me a second one and it finally did what it’s supposed too.

What generation kit did you have issues with, since that's pretty important info for others to read along with a reply like yours.

Oh, and it's also worth noting from the TSB section of THIS THREAD, for 2005-2006 Tundra owners, there's a specific TSB for P2445:
    • Secondary air injection P2445 code: For '05-'06 Tundras, there's a TSB for trucks throwing P2445 code for SAIP / SAIS when temperatures are exceptionally cold. The TSB document can be viewed here to see if it's applicable to your truck.
NOT saying it's valid for your case, unless you're way south of the Equator throwing codes right now in the middle of our northern hemisphere summer :D Only putting it in here in case someone hits this thread in wintertime.

I bought it in the fall of 2020, if that helps.

Ah - it's usually the gen 2 we see people posting about weird stuff, stuck valves, etc. I'm surprised. Thanks for the info!
