2023 sr5 trd off road. 295 falkens, 1” cornfed, Bumpershellz from grill surround, Romik running boards, roll up tonneau, husky x-act and rokblokz. Ordered rough country bed mat as oem isn’t available until April. Hopefully done for a bit.

Stock suspension with absolutely zero rub with the rear of the fender liner pinned back.

Will be doing a 2/1 lift ass soon as I get truck back from dealer in a few weeks. Going to get rid of avs and go dobinsons ims coilovers up front and ims shocks in rear and adjusting rear links. I was able to get over 4 inches of lift with the factory links when testing so I don't think I'm even gonna bother to swap in the afe links I ordered..

Love what you did with your truck! Did you get the OEM trd pro grill? and Where did you get your tail lights? I plan to get the trd pro grill with the light bar and amber lights. Hoping the wiring is easy lol

 

Did you tint your headlights? If so, how did you do it and does it impact light output at all? Your truck looks awesome!

Anyone install the front grille surround from Bumpershellz, was wanting to know how the colors match was.

 

Here's mine from bumpershellz...big o waste of time with them...they said my truck was painted one off of midnight pearl....they apparently went to dealers and verified there purplish black was a direct match...they would only provide refund if I took it off and send back on my dime...

Your looks a lot better, did you go with Attitude/Midnight Black Mattallic or paint to match

 

We've been selling this color for years. Only 3 people have purchased Attitude/Midnight Black as "painted-to-code" since we decided to offer it in August 2023. And it was not Jordan. I found his order and can confirm he purchased the non-painted version only a month after Chanh had reached out to us in July of the same year.

We have had close to 60+ orders of this color since Chanh's issue was brought up to us in July 2023 and not one person has expressed the same dissatisfaction in color match. This is counting ALL sales channels, including 3rd party sellers.

Our R&D team went to the Roseville Automall to test the color against an existing truck on the lot only a couple days after this complaint was received to get to the root of the issue, and confirmed the mismatch was through no fault of our own nor the fault of our plastic supplier. Had this been the case, we would have immediately stopped selling the color option and contacted all existing persons with open orders and persons with orders recently shipped about the issue and given them options so we could remedy the issue and ensure customer satisfaction.

We have been using the same color for both the 2.5 Gen and Gen 3 since we started making Shellz for the 2.5 Gen in 2018. We had NOT tested the color against a "live" Gen 3 before July 2023 because we assumed that the color would match closely since the color code did not change, only the naming convention Toyota uses (similar to have Super White II and Ice Cap are the same color with code 040, but Celestial Silver (1J9) and Silver Sky (1D9) look similar at first glance, but are different codes and colors entirely.

Further, we always recommend performing a dry fit on your vehicle (putting the parts on without removing the red backing) to ensure you like the look of your color match. Our customer service team has far more options to assist you if the red backing is not removed.

Mine also looks like this in really bright sun. I never received a response from them on a fix @EC1 Do you have any remedies for this? It is very ugly when reflected the wrong way. I had sent an email on November 2nd to sales@ecoological.com with the exact same issue. Per your above post I must be one of the three people? However, I did disclose issue and I understand if it was just missed. I would purchase the rest of the chrome delete suite if this could be resolved. Other than that it has been good and has held up even with off road use.

 

Example of my discoloration can be seen here honestly same as other picture where it’s more brown when there is no light reflection off various surfaces.

Here’s my rig, I used Chromestoppers and couldn’t be happier, paint match is perfect! I will delete window trim as soon as its available, also thinking of rebadging Tundra and limited emblems and the TRD sticker, I like the clean look.

 

Yeah...that's definitely not matched..

Here there attempt to prove there parts color matched at the dealer per what they said to me..obviously you can see In the photo it's purple hue but they they it's a perfect color match by there eyes...my trucks been In storage for the winter and haven't gotten a chance to rip off these parts..lol
