    i am about to grease my bushings on my total chaos uca's. Do I need to jack up the truck to do this or can I do it while the truck is on the ground? Thanks

    TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
    You can do it with the truck on the ground. Clean but don't lube the uniball.

    Ok just so i understand, grease the bushings then use dry ptfe spray on the uniball? Right

    The uniball, from what my fab guy tells me and from what I know about plastics, doesn't need to be lubed at all. The ball is in contact with ptfe inside the cup. If you lube it, you'll attract more dirt. At least that's what I've been told... It might be a topic that is passionately debated too.

    Ok. Just as long as I can lube the uca's while under load of the vehicles weight. They were making noise on the way to work. So I was gonna take my lunch break to go grease them up. But I don't have a floor jack

    If you're greasing the bushings you need to loosen the nut on the long bolt that runs through the UCA

    The pressure from the grease gun can tear the poly bushings and will need to re- torque the nut afterwards

    This exactly. You can do it with the truck on the ground but its way easier with the wheel off so you can get to the bolt

    Ok I just got done greasing them. I'm at work and I don't have access to a torque wrench. I tightened down pretty good on the bolt after greasing them. The torque setting for that is 85 ft lbs. so I got down pretty good on it. I'll be at sears tomorrow to get a torque wrench

    The through bolt torque spec is 173 ft lbs. The bolt that connects the uni-ball to spindle is 100 ft lbs

    The upper A-arm long bolt is 85 ft/lbs. Are you maybe thinking of the larger lower a-arm bolt Kris ?

    Maybe for stock but not with TC uppers. I'm running these and always torque to 175. See in red from TC install guide:
