A few years ago I was looking at land in Tennessee. I found 55 acres for around $100k. A buddy that lives in Jamestown said the tax on that would be about $800/year. That's cheaper than the property tax on my Tundra.

 

I might need to check that area out too. My camping trip last week showed me I need to be around water.

 

I think they might have derived that name from Pink Taco. Not sure which chain came first. There's another chain with an unintentionally hilarious name - Rusty Taco. Velvet has really great tacos, though.

 

It's a beautiful part of the country. It's a shame that all the natural residents are fleeing and just handing it over to the invaders.
I'd be more than happy to take a trip out there if you folks wanna make a stand and take it back.
Can't see it taking more than a weekend.

 

And there's another weekend when my brain wakes me up early and goes full throttle...lame.

Depending on this years "Hurricane season" & the next Election cycle South Carolina might get very busy...

More than half of the folks in our development are dreading their Insurance bills if we have a BAD season and more than a few have "Road Tripped"

up to South Carolina for that "Price point".... anything East of 95 is driving distance to the "Big Water"

We might be stopping there for that reason on our way up north!! Florence, South Carolina has that "artsy vibe " Con needs and their State

tax rates are very similar to Florida's ...

 

I think he meant, 'get into your truck; drive to someplace you haven't seen it; and go exploring...'
