Have you moved your wheels as far forward as possible? Use the LCA cams... rear ones out all the way, front ones in... until you get the right camber. If you have adjustable UCAs you should be able to really push it forward. You'll get more caster too, which is usually a good thing.

Hello new guy here that’s a long time Tundra owner. I’m on my 4th and kept my 3rd as well.

A lot of great information here. I see +25-+35 is where you want to be for 37’s.

The new ‘21 truck I am doing a 7 inch BDS kit with the remote Reservoir fox 2.5’s, the BDS UCA’s, and the rear shackles. The wheel I ended up going with is a forged 17 made by titan 7. It is an 8.5 inch wheel with a +5 offset. what issues am I going to run into if any by putting 37’s on the truck with the 7 inch BDS kit?

My ‘15 truck I have a 6 inch Pro-Comp kit with 35 X 12.5’s. My wheel set up is a 20 X 12 -44 offset so totally different style than I’m going to do on this truck. I get some plastic rubbing in reverse with that truck, but not a huge deal.

If running 37’s, you really need to get into adding gears and transmission coolers and all of that, that is a great thing to take into account as well before I buy tires. Thank you guys for your time.

I was told by a local shop that the later 2nd gen Tundras (2020-2021) have an electronic component in the steering system that fails after a few months of running 37s. They recommended no larger than 35s. Anyone know what they are talking about?

Lift is irrelevant when fitting 37s. It’s about wheel offset, alignment, bump stop, bumper and body Mount trimming.

I’d be looking for a different shop. Kinda seems like they’re just not interested in mounting 37s

I was thinking of doing 37s on this. I have 5.29 gears 4 1/2 BDS lift with body mount chop.

I would 100% regear and add a massive transmission cooler if I ran 37s.

    Greetings TMs,

I just got back my rig yesterday. Thinking of regearing but still has plenty of power. I'm running 0mm offset on 37x12.5x17 Kenda.

Huge shout out to KevinK for sharing the specs photos and process. Toyed with the math and ideas for months based namely off of your build. My 2010 off-road DC is now sitting comfortably on 37s thanks to your information, and looks fantastic

1'9" setting 6112/5160 bilsteins. 1.25" spacers on stock (60+~) rims achieving ballpark +27mm offset. Swaybar delete. Some grinding and fender liner work, and she's golden

No regear, live at high elevation, don't personally feel you need to unless you're towing frequently. The 5.7 spins the 37s on dry blacktop. Not to say i don't feel the "power loss," it slowed her down a bit. But it's still fast as shit, maybe cause I'm coming from an 80 series, but I'm happy with it as it sits. Plenty of articulation, though I plan to lift the front .5" further with a spacer. Maybe extended bump stops

    some photos attached

@SikkyRippin Love it! Are those 11.5 tires? What model? Are you getting any rub in any situation?

A 1/2" spacer lift should be fine 6112s. When you extend the minimum shock length it's a good idea to mod your bumpstops as well... you don't want the shock itself taking all that force when it bottoms out. I got some cheap ones from Energy Suspension, that aren't listed for this application but work well. Get some 10x1.25x30mm bolts to install them.

Thanks for the link! Id planned on getting bumpstops but hadn't looked into them. I wanted 37x11 skinnies but the only ones available to my knowledge are twice the cost.

The tires are 37x12.5 Kanati Trail Hogs, AT and three peak snow rated. No complaints from me, can't even come close to them for the cost. & I'm not a "buy cheap tires" guy cause cheap tires are usually awful.. but I know a lot of guys that run these year round and offroad with great results

    eBay carries them

edit for clarities sake, I've been running this setup for like eight months, & it's my daily driver work truck and trail camper
