What does this cost? And when you replace the windshield then you ante up again or will they replace it?

    Alot of them
My local shop is $150 for the windshield. When my windshield was replaced 2 weeks ago, they only charged me $75 since it was a glass replacement.

Drove 1300 miles this week. We have a family tradition (several states away) of blowing up lots of stuff on the 4th. Rolled over 48,000 miles. Here I am parked under a tree hoping to avoid firework fallout

Got a bad pic of a really cool moonrise just after sunset. Yes, this is the moon.

All in all, it was a great trip, and my truck just keeps humming along as expected.

I paid $200, probably cost a bit more due to convenience/location of shop. Fingers crossed the windshield never has to be replaced, but I’d pony the money back up.

Temps here have been in the 90’s the last few days. To stay comfy while driving I’ve been setting the AC to low (60) and the fan on the 3rd speed setting. Driving around today after getting the tint, had to drop the fan speed to lowest setting and raised the temp up to 67-68 degrees on the AC.

Found a couple chips in paint with what is probably just surface rust ...spots are so small, would you just put some touch-up paint on it ? Uggg always something to do and I know rust never sleeps.

Also put fresh coat of Turtle hybrid ceramic spray on.20230706_132712.jpg 20230706_132722.jpg 20230706_132855.jpg

Had Bilstein 5100s installed today. Install guy said I might need UCAs as well. Never heard of that with just the 5100s.

Finally got around to de-chroming. Went the cheapo route for now with plastidip. The wheels and bumpers turned out great, the surround and bulge weren’t quite as glossy as I hoped with the glossifier. Not sure if it was because those pieces are plastic. May eventually got some bumpershellz for that down the road.

With 35s on stock gears I was 5 off at cruising speed. With 37s and 5.29s I'm about 8-10 mph off at cruising speed.

The speedometer calibrator adjusts for change in tire size and/or gears.

Yes, but sometimes you gotta play with the numbers to get the more accurate reading.

    Agree.
Stock speedometer was always off 1-2mph. The calibrator gets it back to the same 1-2mph off.

How’s this bumper holding up? Rust? And is it a thick gauge steel? Thinking about changing my front bumper. Thanks

I like the Tackform wireless charging holder but I don't know if my Galaxy will fit with the Otterbox case.

started my truck after sitting outside for a month. It didn't hesitate. I think part of the reason is the cascadia4x4's 95watt hood solar system.
