I've wire brushed and checked all the grounds.
I spent a lot of time checking the harness for that stuff. An unplugged vacuum line or a missing ground. Everything is connected and tight.
Could the pressure washed have ruined the front two coils? I'm getting a misfire on cyls 1,3,4 and 6 which is the front two coils

I'm at my wits end. Why is it not firing correctly on 4 out of 6 cyls?

I mean, it could be curious to see, based on other guys with the V8, does the misfiring continue if you have the A/C on full blast? Or is the A/C still not 100% operational?

So, to expand more on that, two different guys on here found if they introduced added load onto the engine, all misfires disappeared. In both cases, the combo of these symptoms: Random misfires on 1+ cylinder(s), which go away when added load was placed on the engine, they both found their timing was off.

Have you tried swapping out the rear coil to the front to see if you get the same misfire codes?

Don't the v6s require dual ground electrode plugs? Or is that the 4.0?

@Bmktw2 I'd get the right spark plugs. Believe they are supposed to be platinum as well. Not sure if this is your whole issue but it'd be a good starting point.

In your previous post with your pic of the codes, only 2 and 5 didn't have misfires. 2 and 5 are on the same coil pack. I'd start there.

Do the electrodes on the plugs you bought match the electrode style on the plugs you pulled?

    That's funny :D
I was the first person in the yard this morning when they opened the door, I was waiting. The lady asked me if I needed to know where a particular vehicle was, I laughed and said, no I'm pretty familiar with this place now...

I wish there are yards near me, would love to dig for some non-urgent but maybe good addition parts.... that driver side grab handle is the first that came to mind....
But instead, I will have to sit here and droll over other's build, but to be honest, I love your build, it is very detail, though through some pain and double loops....

Sounds like maybe you got counterfeits from scAmazon? Or did you not buy those from scAmazon? I think I'd suggested it may be the case before, and possibly warned about it :D

Dam how do I close the door?

Shifty, the coils I replaced were the same ones that I drove the truck home with when I originally purchased the truck. I got 3 new coils at the junk yard and it fixed the (4) misfiring cylinders.

Got it. I must be confusing you w/someone. I swore in the 1st couple pages you said you got new plugs and coils. I wasn't about to roll back and pore over it though. Weird it suddenly started with misfires on all four! It's rare to even see one coil go awry, much less two. But four? Go buy a lottery ticket!

Wheel/tire choice looks good! Look forward to pics with it all buttoned up.

Ah shit, you're right. I forgot that's what all the wires are spanning to the other side. Such a weird design. Still odd to see two go at basically the same time.
