Both of those offsets look good to me! I know the -12 would be about a half inch more poke than the 0 offset.

Yes he makes some good points but you’re talking -12 no way your tire a 35 tire will fit inside the wheel well with full articulation. Your gonna rub with a neg -12. Will rub in turns also.

A lot of people get confused. They think the tire is farther out from the body so less rub and just the opposite happens especially when turning!

There is also a SL option for the Nitto Recon in 295/70r18. I went with the 305/70 myself because they were available at the time I was buying, but seriously considered waiting.

YF19 beautiful set up. The perfect setup for stock wheel IMO.
    Swaine 80 lookin good brother.
I’ve heard from Toyota that there 3 inch kit actually raises the front 2 1/4 to 2 1/2…
It looks like your truck still has a little rake still in the rear.
So for the guys towing but still wanting a lift this may be an option.
I know Sparks Toyota knocks about 1000 off retail price if anyone is looking.

I was worried when I had the 4 inch lift installed on mine that the rear wouldn’t be level because I wanted that and don’t tow.
Once it was finished I was happy!!
NCart yes yiur right. It’s the best overall size 295/70/18 for no rubbing but still a nice size tire. I saw that too when I bought my 315/60/20.
If I didn’t have to use a 20 inch wheel I would have gone that size.
But very happy as the 315s. They are super light for that size tire 57 lbs and there a little taller and wider then a 35x12.5
That’s what makes this fun! Different Setups

    Lots of stuff!
@Jinkx I am looking for info on what your rear poke is on both sides of the truck. I am wondering how the rear lift affects the tracking. My guess is that the lift will pull the rear axle towards the drivers side.

How much lift did you do to the rear to keep some rake?

I ask because I did a simple 1" Westcott spacer lift and noticed that my drivers side rear tire was sticking out more and my flares no longer covered the treads. On the passenger side the tire was pulled in further and well covered. That got my started to figure out what was going on with the rigid panhard bar and alignment of the rear wheels.

had p-rated duratracs on the 2018, after 5 yrs and getting down to about 1/4 tread, they get louder as the tread gets to 1/4 life and lower. before that they were not much louder than the oem tires we had originally, but that was our opinion.

but its been noted by a lot of people and other forums that duratracs start howling as you reach 1/4 tread life, so that is nothing new and its inherent to that model for years.

PBNB I’ll get you that pic
I really have no rake my truck is pretty much level and is within 1/2 inch front to back height measured
You really can’t see a difference.
My 4 inch lift came with a rear track bar bracket that keeps the track bar in the factory location so whatever poke difference I have is basically how it was from the factory…

Sun light kinda makes it look diff but they look about the same.
My rear lift is 2 inch. Front 4 inch..
Rough Country 4 inch lift. They don’t list how much the rear comes up only that the truck will be level.
I had a ready lift 3/1 and truck was level so after the 4 was installed it’s still level so thoughts would tell you that it has to be a 2 inch lift in the rear…
To add to this all leveling kits are 1.75 to 2 inch.
So basically from Toyota are trucks are 2 inches higher in the rear then the front!
    Hope that helps!

For those that are curious about the 305/70r18 Nitto Recon Grappler. They are slightly taller and slightly thinner than the 35’s, but load range D.

That is sweet. Any suspension kits? Rubbing? This is very close to what I want to do with mine.

Joined the TE gang! Finally got around to mounting the wheels. Truck rides great so far. I was scared about the poke on the -10 offset but it isn't that bad in person, actually like it more now. Rear is a tad lower in the pics since the weight of the old wheels are in the bed.

I bought 3 from tire rack and the the 4th from wheelwiz. I’m not sure if they make them in this size anymore.

Great thread to follow. I'm going to wait to burn up the OEM tires. I mostly commute so those are OK for now, but I am a huge fan of the Michelin Defender LTX M/S, as I don't need anything too aggressive.
