I use my Apple Ultra for navigating trails while on foot. So I can find my way back to my truck.

That orange is a bit much, but the black isn't too bad.
Too pricey for what it is..

I don't understand watches, doesn't everybody carry a little computer in their pocket with a clock anyways? That being said, maybe it's just me, I don't wear any accessories like a ring, earring, whatever, it would just bug me.

The irony of having that speedometer on a Toyota themed watch :rofl:

They are nice watches though! Love the black and orange.

I wish at least it was something like a colab on a Seiko 5 at the minimum since Seiko likes to do brand colabs on that watch line. It feels like it's trying for the ostentatiousness of a Richard Mille on a budget.

I saw these and was seriously thinking about it. But like previously expressed, way too expensive for what you are getting. If they were Automatic, I would have probably pulled the trigger.

Oh crap, Not sure how I missed that. I could have sworn I read differently, but it is in black and white on the description. Thanks.

I see what I did. The orange one is automatic and I thought that one was ugly. I liked the black one better and it is solar.

I’ve only seen the orange one and assumed they were all automatic.

I've never had much luck with the solar powered watches. Those little capacitors are less reliable than watch batteries. A Seiko 5 colab would be the way to go on these.

“Expensive” is a very relative term when it comes to watches. I’ve got a ton of them and people ask me if they’re expensive. Really depends on how you define that. I have plenty that were 500 bucks or more, and I’d say most people would call that expensive.
I don’t have any Omegas, Rolexes, etc. though. Most expensive one I have is a Tag which would considered be entry level for most serious collectors.

I’d shown these to my wife and she surprised me with the orange one a few weeks ago. I had no experience with this brand, but it seems well made and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. There was a 20% off coupon code when she ordered it so she did save a good bit. Overall I do really like it. I’ve never had a watch with a wooden band before but it’s pretty cool. I do like bright colors on things I wear. Very light for its size.

I’ve got a G-Shock and an Eco-Drive that are solar. Haven’t had any issues with those.

I basically only wear watches as an accessory to suits on formal occasions nowadays and my old stainless Citizen gets that job done just fine. These are not my style and would not be suitable.

Just my opinion but seems like an over-designed, over-built, over-priced relic from 2 decades ago. Like a really expensive Kodak camera.

I mean, if I was going to spend that much on a watch I would at least buy an Apple Watch Ultra that can give you GPS, phone calls, maps, SOS alerts, etc. Or invest the money? Or anything else for that matter?

i gave up wearing a watch back in the late 80's due to working in heating in civil engineering in the usaf. couldnt even wear wedding band due to the heavy equipment and power tools. got so use to it now that i cant stand wearing any type of jewelery. havent worn a wedding band since maybe the first year or two. got tired of on then off and losing it. so i gave up up and it sits in the wife jewelry box since.

I've got a few nice watches but they're just jewelry for men. They all cost much more than an apple (or android) watch and don't have anywhere near the capability. The only people who care are other watch guys and women.

Yes, they can do some things and yes, the engineering is impressive. But it's just bling for bros, nothing more.

Orange is not my thing( maybe I'm getting old) Would however contemplate a purchase with a color matched supersonic red/black variant.

Now you gotta buy a solar octane pro. It’s in the terms and conditions.

Same here. wore a wedding band for a year or 2 after getting married well over 20 years ago and always ended up mashing it into an oval working in the garage. Finally the wife said take that damn thing off before you lose a finger. Haven't wore a damn thing since.
