I mean, if it’s every mailbox sort of thing then yea. But that’s clearly not the case. She is overly angry if she’s going to sit there and blast her horn instead of just getting out and putting the letters in the box. For 5-6 months of the year I’m walking up driveways that aren’t plowed or shoveled, some quarter plus miles. Can I decide not to do my job because I am overreacting?

I can't believe a car blocking a fire hydrant was ticketed. Are Firemen too lazy to just fill buckets from the hydrant and carry the water to the fire?

I have seen where post office Amazon etc… just throw packages
you are real smart. Look at the photo again I wasn’t even blocking the mailbox or even 5 inches blocking it. I’m sure the “queen” can get of her high horse throne and safely delivery the mail without even trying to be a gymnastics to get to that mailbox.

I've only ever seen those type of curb side mailboxes that can be accessed from a vehicle in rural areas. Very strange to see them in an urban setting where you have sidewalks and (presumably) driveways and parked vehicles all over the place. Lots must either be way wider than they are here or the mail carriers would be getting mad if there was anybody parked on the street anywhere.

I’m not the one who got worked up. It’s the mail lady that got worked up enough to honk her horn for 5 minute straight instead of walking out and putting mail in the mailbox. Didn’t bother me one bit.

as someone who was raised by mailboxes, worked as a mail man for 84 years, a mail lady for another 27, and serviced the brakes on mail trucks for the past 118 months, i completely agree with the neighbor with the hot wife and schnauzer that created the only fans to dress as your father and say how disappointed he is in you.

If I was a lazy mailman I would have skipped that house and said mail was undeliverable. If I was a nice mailman I would have gotten out of the truck and put the mail in the mailbox.

If I was the mail carrier and ran up on a vehicle parked too close to the mailbox,.....
There would be zero horn honking and zero reaction. I'd just toss your shit from the truck and get it as close to the mailbox as I could and move on with my life, because I have shit to do. Zero emotion, zero shits given, zero time wasted, no hard feelings.
I wouldn't be mad at all that you parked there.

Clearly... you were so un-bothered that you felt the need to start a whole thread about it. I do that all the time with stuff that I'm totally not worked up about.:rofl:

Wouldn't it have been easier to just post it in this one? https://www.tundras.com/threads/why-do-people-like-to-complain.41069/page-2

You know, the one where you said "I rarely complain in life." Ohhhh, wait...

That wasn’t a complaint if you haven’t noticed. I was unbothered or even moved by if. Why would I be when I’m doing what I need to be.

Sounds like you should quit your job and take a much easier job delivering the US Mail.

I'd rather keep a bucket of rocks and ball of rubber bands in the truck. Takes 3 seconds to wrap their mail around a rock with a rubber band and chuck it on the front lawn. Never have to leave your seat.

I agree that it was completely unnecessary for her to sit there and lay on the horn.
I disagree that she should've parked, got out and put the mail in the box.
    I wouldn't have done either.
