    Hello everyone,
Where do you recommend to order leaf springs for utility trailers. One of the layers on the leaf spring broke and I plan to replace both sides. 3500lb axle. Any tips and advice you may have please feel free to share! Much appreciated!!

I have used etrailer.com or just the local trailer parts/sales dealership. Assuming you don't have one close to you, I would just order online. Springs and hardware.

Tractor supply has some pretty good selections too.

Axle seems to be good, 3500lb single axle. Seems simple enough to change out. I’m thinking I will grease the bearings and change the drum brakes in the near future as well. Do you work on trailers often?

If the axle looks good and has a good arch still (spindles are not bent from overloading), a spring swap is pretty easy if you have all new hardware. Look for uneven tire wear, that is the first sign of bent axle or spindle. It isn't rare to break a spring, just something to look out for.

I have worked on my fair share of trailers when I had light duty (7K) trailers.

Overloading weight consistently will break a leaf spring.....my neighbor found that out the hard way.

Great info, I’m thinking I’ll order a set today. Neighbor who has experience with trailers will lend a hand. Thankful for good neighbors. The trailer it self was in pretty new condition when I bought it 2 summers ago.
Enclosed 2016 model 7x12 3500lb single axle with about 1500 miles on it. Since then I’ve probably put 12k miles on it. I would estimate the load I usually haul is no more than 1300lbs
