Still have to install the door sill protection overlays, steering wheel emblem inserts, console overlay, Canadian flag decals and vinyl heritage decals. Personally, I don’t like how thick that plastic overlay is. I went with the vinyl overlay.

 

Also installed the talon cat shield today.

 

Any kind of decal for interior or exterior look into TuffSkins…Have ordered several things from them and it’s all been amazing quality…!

Installed the Tundra and TRD in red. Very heavy thick vinyl decals

 

Funny how sometimes the littlest things you end up loving. Found this on Amazon. Luv this little tray instead of having this big open area. Plus gives you a little hiding spot underneath then.

 

Added a few more things following the border run. Not perfect but we’ll see how they hold up. I try. LOL

 

That’s a few too many stickers for me.

I do like that one though. I hate the shiny black stock as the dust is impossible to keep clean.

 

Pretty sure that is his OE steering wheel, he’s in Canada. There are a few different trims in Canada that come factory with the steering wheel and shifter knob that only comes on the TRD Pro in the US.

Can confrm. I have a SR5 TRD Off Road and I have the same steering wheel and shifter knob.

 

Nice rims! Probably the best-looking rims on a 3rd gen. ;-)

 

Yeah it has a classic look with a bit of toughness and just enough poke to add some aggressive styling.

 

I agree that the piano black sucks, however, I’m not completely satisfied with this solution from OCD Plug. It took multiple attempts and I’m still not completely happy with my installation. I’d recommend paying more and getting the rigid plastic one with the adhesive strips on the back.
I’m waiting to see if their 8” infotainment screen protector works out for me also. I think it’s just a hair too large and it’s not going to stay stuck to the screen in a few sections.

 

Yes the center console in shiny black plastic is going to get scratched every-time u clean it…no matter how careful you are. I went flat black also. Soooooo much better and won’t show anything.

I bought the matte black one, but yeah it seems like mixed reviews about those vinyl stickers. A lot of reviews say they don’t fit right. I’ll keep it on until they make some plastic ones.

 

I wish I hadn’t cheeped out, and just paid the extra money for the better one from Tufskinz. I might play with this one a bit or just leave it and see how it wears. Better than anything. It’s just that weird ridge on the right side of the centre console then that valley near the bottom section below the 4X4 switch and drive mode selector knob. I can’t seem to do a better job of pushing it down hard enough for it to consistently adhere.

 

Right now its anything to stop the sun from reflecting off it. What a bad design. I’ve had other vehicles with shiny plastic. Not sure if its a cost thing or Toyota thinks its cool, thing.
