I had no idea the 2 Toyota coolants had different cooling properties. Thanks for that info, I don’t have FB.

I’m sorry, I probably wasn’t spanked enough as a child and now I find too much humor in harassing others over spellcheck errors.

For real though I don’t actually know what the deal is with the two coolants but he is a pretty smart dude. I don’t think I care enough to make the switch to red on mine.

 

I was spanked plenty, doesn't make a difference.
I used Evans waterless coolant in my S/C'd Tacoma. I've thought about it in my Tundra. What I really liked is that it didn't need to be pressurized (nearly as much) so that it wasn't stressing the cooling system with pressure in addition to the usual hot/cold cycling. The stuff is spendy though and you need to get all the water-based coolant out of the system first. Kind of a PITA. Here: https://www.evanscoolant.com/

 

Not sure if this link works since it’s on FB. TRD supercharger for sale in Texas. Claims to need a rebuild but has everything but the fuel pump for 2500.

It does appear to be AWD, here is a better video of the Dyno, and a walk around to the engine...I see they're running the 110mm GM LS snout with a massive custom intake snaking down to the fog light area...

The Kanoo guys are out of UAE I think, maybe Bahrain. They were running the Voodoo Blue Tundra with the wide body kit.

Any shop recommendations for supercharger rebuilds in Texas? Preferably around the DFW area.

 

Yeah, all the cool toys seem to be over there. I've reached out to them out the throttle body signal converter as well...I saw @reywcms already asked about it on the other post It seems that converter is unobtanium for everyone on this side of the pond.

He was running an LS yes. Issue is the harness needed to run it all. We haven't heard back from the manufacturer if he's still doing them.

Yea not sure how it all works lol above my pay grade. I just know the harness as s chip needed to be programmed to talk to the tundra harness

 

yeah it won't necessarily just be pin swaps if the internal resistance of the TBs are different.

 

My thought was swap the Tundra electronics into a GM housing.

Exactly. Hence the harness. Unless the idea Sniv has would work. I'll be sending him my stock TB to mess with.

 

The TB castings are different from the GM to the Toyota, so simply swapping the motors and electronics is unlikely to be an option.

There is a voltage difference that needs to be translated, which is why the converter is needed. From what I understand, PerfectLambda makes the unit for resale by other shops...none of which seem to want to respond, or have working stock to ship. ViktorG was able to get one of these converters early on and tune his truck with it.
