Do you have pictures of installed on your truck?

Can they be adjusted to stick out a little more than OEM for better coverage? I have a slight poke, would be nice to have the flaps stick out maybe an 1” or 1 1/2”

There isn't that much adjustment. Maybe only ½ an inch... I dont have any up close pictures...this is my previous Tacoma with them on. They can be adjusted out more then stock though.

Full front PPF, Tint, Go Rhino boards, Retrax, 35's, Rekgen Flaps
Rekgen mud flaps. Only two gripes... #1: They use a different size screw than factory, #2: you have to reuse one rear screw, but the screw is silver, not black. Both minor, but both annoying.

Overall, great fitment, better coverage than stock, no tire rubbing and installation instructions that are easy to follow.

I purchased two Amazon options that have been discussed here:

I ultimately returned option A because of how twisted the rear flaps appeared. The front flaps looked good for both options. I've got some measurements if you need them.

    Hopefully this helps folks.

I wonder how flexible these flaps are. Looks like if you drive over a curb that these things can get damaged.

Tbh I hated my option A mudflaps and even tried to bend the metal brackets back. Not very good luck doing that.

But shown a few ppl my truck now and nobody points it out, and when I do they just shrug and think it's how it's supposed to be since the flap follows that inward bend of the wheel liner.

I'm like it's not parallel 90degrees, and they are like huh so what/where, then I show them a specific angle to look at it and they all go wtf who cares.....

Tldr, some post on interwebs made me think the flaps were pointing inward were awkward. But irl ppl think that's the way it's supposed to be.

Both do flex but option B seems more rubbery. I’m driving through pastures quite a bit, so I’ll report back if I damage them.

the oem mud flaps are ok, seems like they made them slightly shorter than the 2nd gen flaps.

may look into something that is slightly taller to do better coverage on the auto boards. still getting some snow build up on the boards just before the leading motor.

Has anyone tried these out yet?

    https://www.weathertech.com/toyota/2023/tundra-hybrid/mudflap-no-drill-digitalfit/

Sorry not sure what happened with my previous post but Yes I had them on my 22 Limited and really did like the look. They come with everything you need and Its an easy install, maybe 1/2 hour all together. They mount using the existing screw pattern (longer screws included), and include 4 strips of PPF to protect where the mud flap contacts body paint. If you're off roading you might want to look at something a little more flexible, Weather Tech's are fairly stiff but otherwise

Not sure why these mud flap builders and oem can’t grasp that we want soft pliable mud flaps like tractor trailers. Nothing worse than rock hard ones that will crack break and tear off everything they are attached to in the woods. Guess it’s form over function like everything else on these trucks.

Thank you for the feedback- I think I’m going to pull the trigger and give them a shot. I’ve always been a weather tech fan for almost 20 years now- try to support made in USA as much as I can.

    Appreciate it!

Weathertech mudflaps. Looks nice, easy install, includes PPF and longer screws. Not super flexible, but not rock solid either. Don't know if the work yet, but I think they will.

I put on the weathertech ones on my 1794. Look pretty good. Hardest thing was putting on that paint protector film in cold weather.

In hindsight, I dont think I really needed to put that paint film on.

Do you have a link for these?
Also, did you just use the same OEM holes to attach them?
    Thanks

No link, just the universal mud flaps. i used the existing holes- held the flares up in place and marked them then drilled em out!

Just added the RekGen Mud Flaps. Better coverage now on my +15 offset rims. Installation super easy. Why they didn't stick with bolt screws rather than phillips i'IMG_2276.jpg IMG_2274.jpg IMG_2269.jpg IMG_2273.jpg m not sure but it is what it is.

Use a 1/4" ratchet with philips bit and correct size socket.

They also make small ratches just for bits that can get into even tighter spaces.
