My cabin filter was bad. Engine filter wasn't terrible though. Both are due for new ones in 400 miles with my oil change though.

the week before or the week after t2s? I wanna know where all these trails are. My big tent (the one i could get to without unloading stuff) was a bit worn out, and floppy, but next year will be better.

I'd like to go to Moab sometime for sure.

If anyone else is interested in https://overlandadventurerallies.com/nwor/ it's on my radar as a potential option given the time of year and general location. Dunno if I can get the Tundra ready in time tho.

Pro tip, especially for the long distance folks. Carry an extra filter for these long trips. Use one for offroad stuff, the other for on road stuff. Its a lot better for your engine in the long run

Moab or San Juan Mountains in CO would be amazing. You’d have to do Colorado in July or August for the high pass trails to be open.

I haven't checked my air filter yet but I managed to get 17.8 and 17.5 MPG through Arizona and New Mexico on the way home. Did the math at the pump both times. I saw gas for $2.95 in Arkansas. Huge improvement from those awful Arizona prices.

Things I learned on this trip:

-Chase lights are both cool and useful.
-Sealed batteries are better when off-roading. My Interstate battery leaked a lot.
-A 2WD truck with a locker can be extremely capable.
-ICON coilovers were not the best choice but going faster actually helps at times.
-Years of applying Fluid Film backfired when driving in dust. My frame looks like a chocolate cake.
-A stock Tundra with Michelin tires can still do Broken Arrow
-I finally found another state I would consider moving to.
-Some of the group are extremely skilled mechanics. Pulling a diff out at camp takes balls.
-Chap stick must be applied every 20 minutes.
