I would just pick tent camping since you aren't pulling a trailer. I hope to see you there!

Pops drove Crackie for the first time today. Said it's a road wagon. I asked him what he meant. He said he likes the way it sounds. Said it brought back precious memories of his Regular cab, big block '79 Ford.

I was able to take some pictures of Crackie going down the road first the first time. Damn, I think it looks mean as hell running down the road.

Got my truck back today, loaned to family for the last two weeks. Not bad, they only put ~400 miles on it doing a Blue Ridge vacation and left it with 3/4's of a tank (only had a 1/4 when they took it).

    All seems well!

Busy day today. Rear passenger tire was low AGAIN, so I finally got pissed off and decided I'd pull it and check. Looks like I had the latter half of a finishing nail stuck in it. Pulled it, plugged it, reinflated, good to go.

Got my oil change done while at it. Drove to NAPA and back to get everything in the crankcase nice and hot, solvent, to flush things out. I can tell I pulled a good bit more stuff out of the crankcase with how dark the oil was. And NAPA b/c Mobil1 has a campaign with NAPA through end of month $25 gift card when you buy 10qt oil, so I did.

While I was changing the oil, the wife decided to re-pot some plants on the deck above me and got dirt all over the truck so I washed it. Pics or it didn't happen...

Been an expensive week for vehicles, $550 for brakes on the Altima and I just spend $540 on Armstrong Tru-Trac HTs for the Tundra.

Township graded the road last week and apparently pulled up something that put a rather large puncture in the left rear. Tires aren't too far off the wear bars so it's time for new ones.

Bled the brakes, changed out the rear Billies for Fox 2.0s, ate some pizza, and took a nap. Need to take a truck for a shakedown.

I've been watching some pressure washing videos - garden transformation stuff. Clean trucks really highlight the driveway. :) :anonymous:

Yup, got a pressure washer, and the driveway is sadly on the honey-do list right now.

I sold my second set like a year ago. First set went to the scrap yard before I found out they were worth more than $90 in scrap

BB8B885C-9A2A-4A80-95BE-B41C6930E65B.jpg Spooled(am I spelling that right?) my winch today, it’s a little chubby because I didn’t really have a load on it when I spooled it, just my hand pressure with a glove on. I used a rear coil isolater off a 4runner as a “bump stop” when getting the factor27 splicer snugged up. B5391BCA-2B19-443C-8CDE-70C05175408B.jpg
i also used one of these line locks on the wraps, to prevent a full unspool of the rope(8wraps minimum) this is just a representation of it, not actually installed on the drum*

Bring it brother!!! I’m glad I finally got it done, it will be a nice addition and a safety aspect if somebody needs help. The usual suspects I go with don’t have a winch, I don’t think, so we can get a little wilder if need be. I need to use some sharpie or get a sticker made, custom faced mount means out is in, and in is out; on the controller.
