I know I'm setting myself up for some fun comments but, I'm having trouble getting it through the hole and I'm fresh out of KY.

Trying to feed the SwitchPros connector through. I don't remember the FJ being so tight. Tips, tricks, suggestions of all kinds would be welcome.

have you tried stretching out the hole with your fingers? Try one finger first, then two, then try to get three in there.

Try a wire coat hanger, wrap the electrical wire around it and then wrap it with electrical tape, push and pull like hell.

I use the Thexton THE476 wire tool. It's basically a hollow screwdriver works great

    Flux capacitor!
If you ever want to make a new location for wires through the firewall I suggest using firewall grommets. You can order them in different sizes pending the amount of wires you need to feed. The inside seal also tightens as you fasten it on.

Seriously do what swede78 said. I had to get a tiny connector through and it was so difficult. It felt like there was a second grommet on the inside, but couldn't even see it. Next time I'm getting a coat hanger and tape like crazy to it, make a huge cut in the rubber and going to yank it through.

I bet a tire plug insertion tool would work perfect.

IMG_3184.jpg I have quite a few of these laying around collecting them over the years. I'm sure the tools others suggestion would work great but this could be free if you have one.

It's actually a double sided gasket that has the same lip on the interior as the exterior of the firewall
